SO THERE I WAS! After weeks of trying to get Nintendo Coin and the Rareware Coin, I finally got the final door to the final key to K Lumsy's cage. After seeing the cutscene with K Rool going into his ship I knew I was in for something epic! I can just see myself with K Lumsy fighting with his ship all across the overworld map trying to shoot him down. Oh I knew I was in for something special! So we take him down and *BOOM* BOXING MATCH OUT OF F*CKING NO WHERE! :O Totally what I expected right??
Hello My Name Is Derrick~ I Am Really Happy To Hear All This Music And I Never Thought I Would Say This Considering I never Liked King K. Rool BuT I am Really Happy To Hear This Song For Him. The New Donkey Kong Country Is Notthing Like This Game. I Mean What In The Hell Was The New Creators Of Donkey Kong Thinking? There is No Donkey Kong Game Ever Never Ever With Out (KING K. ROOL.)
Majora's Mask kinda turned me away from the Zelda series, because I couldn't even get past the first quest with the 3-day limit. And the moon kinda creeped me out!
To all the guys who say this sounds like BK music and don't know why (and would like to know) : the music format in BK and DK64 is the same, and Grant Kirkhope did the music for both games.
idk why everyone's saying this sounds like banjo kazooie... i was under the impression this came out first. Plus, this sounds like all the music in the D.K. 64 game. Its not singled out or anything
Actually Grant made the notes quite different in both games. The thing that makes them sound similar is the chord progression's, and the fact their is running eigth notes in both pieces.
wow great creepy music and i like the way the game ended (once my little brother finally beat it) but like i knew there was a wrestling match and all the kongs were involved but i just couldn't visualize it... VERY EPIC BATTLE!!!!!!!!!
While the final battle for this game was pretty funny, it was very long considering all the kongs had to go against him, but man was it an epic fight just for the length!
You know, it's kinda creepy. I'm not really a Banjo-Kazooie fan, but I've heard some songs from some of those games, & they sound eerily similar to the ones from this game.
This fight was very epic. I didn't believe my friend when he told me it was a boxing match until I fought him. :P

You prefer Donkey Kong Country? I don't, because it's platforming & I suck at platforming.
litnin200 2 years ago
@litnin200: Then what category do you put DK64 in? Adventure? I mean c'mon, there's still some platforming in DK64, and you know that.
bl4ckw1ngz64 1 year ago
@bl4ckw1ngz64 Well, you have more health in this game, & no lives either.
litnin200 1 year ago
maybe you're right. but its true that DK is more recognizable as a character.

No, I think it's in this order:
1. Mario
2. Final Fantasy
3. Zelda
4. Metroid
5. DONKEY KONG!?!?!?

No, Pokemon is soon to be #1, since HeartGold and SoulSilver will be out in Japan soon (September 12, 2009).

there was a time when DK was the #2 franchise in Nintendo and or tied with Zelda, but after 1999 DK fell off after Rare went to Microsoft.

lukerbom12 1 year ago
@ctt4lfecw Do you think that Donkey Kong Country Returns is good?
lukerbom12 1 year ago
@lukerbom12 yes it or SMG 2 could be considered the best Nintendo games of 2010
ctt4lfecw 1 year ago
@lukerbom12 Not quite as good as the originals, but pretty damn good indeed! :)

ho ho! It does, actually. Thanks for pointing that out

thats because these game were made by Nintendo/Rareware

I thought it was because Banjo-Kazooie & DK64 were both for the Nintendo 64.
litnin200 3 years ago
Or it could be they use the same, or a very similar, game engine.

@VOLCANICINF3RNO
Same company, same music artist too. : )
DK64 came out between BK and BT. : )
