I love how Anton danced around the first question. He would not tell Mr.Cook what his criteria for something being evidence / proof was. Now he either did this to avoid having that criteria met, having that criteria proven to be inconsistent when applied to bible, or he may very well not understand that there must be an agreed upon definition/ standard in order for burden of proof to be met. I did explain why, to which I got no response. The standards are different because the claims are different. When someone claims a supernatural event occurs, it’s logical to demand more, almost “supernatural” proof, unlike a natural claim such as George Washing crossing the Delaware. When I brought that up, the topic was switched. You know I didn’t get “spanked”, so don’t even go there.

Christians waste there time trying to prove to people that there is a GOD while the world continues to suffer do to there lack of understanding of the dispositions of that GOD. Christians call themselves "vessels", but have no clue what that means. A vessel means conduit or tube. In order to be a channel for spiritual light(love), you have to take on(become) the aspects of the creator, not worship it.

Without theism (belief in a higher GOD), there wouldn't be "a" theism (non belief in a higher GOD). Also, one can be a liar and not know they are liars, including you and I. I'm open to evidence. I always am, on any subject. I think it's totally possible that Jesus existed. But nobody can prove he existed utilizing contemporaneous historians at the time...and there were many. Pastor Cook couldn't (I shot down everything he said, which is why he changed the subject), and you can't either.

I try to keep Christ simple -- the bliss that comes from conscious-sleep, prayer, meditation and energization exercise is "proof" that a purer form of consciousness exists in this frame. I've met people that have deeper experiences than me (far deeper) and they have spelled out the experiences I'll have as I advance and so far all have come true. Religions words are to inspire "looking."

What people don't understand is that in 70 A.D., the Romans invaded and destroyed Jerusalem and most of Israel, slaughtering its inhabitants. Entire cities were literally burned to the ground! We should not be surprised, then, if much evidence of Jesus' existence was destroyed. Many of the eye-witnesses of Jesus would have been killed. These facts likely limited the amount of surviving eyewitness testimony of Jesus.
