@marjaan2000 i couldn't agree more... maryam was so sweet and kind to those girls and yet what they did to her was backstabbing her, talking about her behind her back and many other things. i believe that was a human nature reaction when they feel threaten by maryam. too bad. the girl with the bad mouth, erm.. the second bad mouth actually, after nikita, is the winner herself..n then lindsay, hate the way she screwed maryam over the torn dress. maryam is the best!!!

That's not entirely true. To apply for a canadian citizenship you can be any age. i applied when i was 11. I'm 14 and now I'm a citizen. you have to be a permanent resident for at least 3 years before applying, so you had to live in canada for at LEAST 4 years.

I agree with you that it isn't her fault. hey knew that they would need a passport. but it wasn't like the judges hadn't known beforehand that she didn't have one. it's really hard for a noncitizen to travel and be able to come back in

well it was Maryam's responsibility, she knew she didn't have her passport.. so should've waited until she had it before trying out. Chances are, there will be more cycles of CNTM, so if she got in this time, who says she couldn't have gone in in a later cycle ? its very clear in the "job description" that she needed the passport.

I do agree with you though, that the way some girls in the house treated her was unacceptable, especially Lindsay, at the last episode.

All you Maryam fans are turning it a little too far. They shouldnt have bullied Maryam, but now you girls are doing the exact same thing. And maybe they do deserve it, but have you ever thought how those girls felt? Lindsay having the designer practicly tell jay it was her fault for ripping the dress, Nikita loosing her best friend Heather in the compitiion to someone who didnt participate in the challenges & meaghan who is normally kind & was caught in a bad situation & almost thrown into it.
