  • @odiedude Yes, you're right. To become a PBA member you needed to be at least 18 and hold an average of 190 or higher for the two prior seasons. Many 17 year olds that were better than Pete would've joined before otherwise.

  • picture quality isn't great but WOW, what a young PDW !!!!

  • Wow, Arnie frickin Goldman, back when he was the space cadet. He was and still is a great bowler. He was rated top 5 bowlers in the world back in the 80s. Hes still around promoting his product, the big question is, will it ever hit the market? Anyway great video, any videos of him winning the high roller?

  • I'm surprised they let a 17-year-old bowl on tour back then. I'd assume 18 would be the cutoff. I wonder if Dick had anything to do with getting Pete on tour at that age.

  • They said that since Pete had his high school graduation equivalent, that they waived the rule for 18 yr olds.

  • Thanks for sharing this kakcpa!

  • Give Pete some credit! He did shoot a clean game for his first time on TV!

  • He did, indeed. Fantastic spare shooting by the young Weber. He was never completely out of the match.

  • Wow, Bo, Earl, and Dick look so young!

  • This was 27 years ago...they should!
