@doctorlucas77 - when I was in college, in one of my economics classes we did a study of the offers that Deal did, and it's not as simple as rounded average of the remaining cases. Early in the game, it's lower than the average case value, as they want you to continue to play to hopefully have you knock out higher cases. Near the middle of the game,it gets around average. Near the end of the game, it's a bit higher than average remaining,because they want to get you out of there paying the least

When I wonder about how I'd approach Deal or No Deal as a contestant, I wouldn't worry about walking home with a million (preferrable though it would be) - I would keep some large amounts in play and take the deal before it gets out of hand. Unless you're incredibly unlucky, it's easy to gain huge sums of money on this show by simply knowing when to fold.

So technically it was created in Holland but I do believe that the game was distrubuted and aired in several countries simultaneously. However, I have to say the Dutch version of the show is the worst I have ever seen. It is very sloppily done and makes one think that the NL did a poor copy cat of the UK, because the UK has style and personality.

While he might not be a real banker, he is making the offers. If it was done by computer the offers would make sense. Like $500,000 when there is $1 and $1,000,000 left on the board. Notice it's never like that.
