  • Only thou art holy! There is none beside thee! Perfect in power, love and purity!

  • For anyone who desires a biblical understanding of the gospel and salvation, I would highly recommend checking out the scribd website that is listed on my channel.

  • All the bible commands for salvation is to trust in Jesus Christ and him alone and what hehas done for salvation. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.(Romans 1:16). Jesus was born of a virgin, led a sinless life, was crucified and died, was buried, and on the third day he Arose!!! And all those that trust in Him alone are saved by grace and grace alone. Eph 2:8-9. Rom 3:23

  • Eph 2:8-9"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Salvation is nothing we can do on our part because we are all sinners Rom 3:23, Gal 5:19-21, Rom:310-12, Rom:19-26, Rom 5:15, Rom 11:5-6. Baptism, sinners prayer, lords supper, confession are all works on our part. The gospel is all about Jesus Christ and never about us. Look at Rom 1:16, 1 Cor 15:1-4. By grace will you trust in Christs work alone!

  • @pinksoccerplyr59 - You need to reconsider your definition of works. Baptism is clearly a work of God not man! Baptism is done

FOR the forgiveness of sins Acts 2:38

    to SAVE us (1Pet 3:21, Acts 2:40, Mark 16:16

to WASH AWAY OUR SINS Acts 22:16

to be REBORN to new life John 3:5, Rom 6:3-6

to CLOTHE ourselves with Christ Gal 3:26-27

so that GOD will RESURRECT us Col 2:12, Rom 6:3-6

as a REQUIRMENT to enter heaven John 3:5, Mark 16:16)

to put us INTO CHRIST Rom 6:3-6, Gal 3:26-27, 1Cor 12:13

    What the Bible says:

"And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God, and the Father by him." (Colossians 3:17)

  • In Matthew 28:19 Jesus said "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

If the Father, Son, and Holy are three persons, and they have three separate names, why is it that everyone in the Bible was baptized in the name of Jesus?

  • @rwsmith1987 because the passage you posted maybe? I know that Pentecostals have a problem with that passage, and will take the summary given by Paul and others to replace what Jesus said. The truth is that we have to reconcile the passages together.

  • NewVinland, so should we believe Jesus or the Apostles? Because according to my studies, Peter and Paul both baptized in Jesus name (Acts 2:38, Acts 19:5).

(By the way, I love Matthew 28:19)

  • @rwsmith1987 It does not truly matter under what name we are baptized the baptism is just a symbol of our rebirth in Christ the true issue is accepting Jesus Christ and the only perfect sacrifice for our sins and confessing him as lord and Savior

  • @mageus07 Yes, but what about to receive the Holy Ghost?

  • @rwsmith1987 Because God is one!

  • A great old Hymn!!!

  • i love listening to this song. This is A GREAT SONG.

  • How you come to the conclusion that God is a fictional character?

  • But that "answer" you may find is only true to you if there is no God. It would give you no right to expect others to agree with you or follow you, as there would no longer be any absolute standard to compare it with. Therefore, the meaning of life would be entirely subjective and the one who finds no meaning is just as "correct" as the one who does find meaning.

  • so if there is a God (which of course, there is), don't you think that He would have the smarts to teach mankind His religion (as you call it)?

  • well actually if there is not God there is no meaning to life, other than survival and maybe comfort and passing on our genes.

To say God and religion are mutually exclusive though is a false dichotomy. Religion is the organized worship of God, if God is real, then Religion is.

  • Thank you for Posting this Lovely and Godly Song.

  • yeaH...i love jesuS.....

  • anybody knows this song it's called Holy Holy Holy too and the lryics are :

Holy Holy Holy lore god of power god of might heaven and earth are full of your glory howzzana in the highest.

Blessed who he who comes howzzana howzzana howzzana in the highest.

  • I did it wroung its:

Holy Holy Holy lord god of power god of might heaven and earth are full of your glory howzzana in the highest.

Blessed who he who comes who comes in the name of the lord howzzana howzzana howzzana in the highest.

  • Nice singing but they seem to have missed out:

    Cherubim and seraphim

     falling down before thee

    Which wert and art

    and ever more shalt be

    SAT28MAR09/0144

  • It's a good song to represent the Christian Faith. It's kind of like the Nicene or Apostles Creeds. It's a good Traditional Christian song. Thank you Adonai!

  • I just realized this is perhaps my favorite hymn. Speaks to my heart. Thank you.

  • Praise the lord!!! I just got blessed on Youtube...thats a good thang! There is nothing like a good church hymn after a day like I have had. Blessed we are!

  • A nice expression of christian culture.

  • They sang this song way too fast. It is supposed to be a slower hymn.

  • It's an interpretation. There are many interpretations of pretty much every hymn out there. Ever heard Michael W. Smith's interpretation?

  • Praise God

  • what a heavenly voice and song.

  • "God in 3 persons, Blessed trinity"...i love that part:)

  • @pastorgeoff

Matthew 10: 30: Jesus said "I and my Father are ONE.

Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus said to his desciples : "go ye therefore and teach the gospel to all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father, AND the son AND the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2: 38: The first Baptism performed after this commandment that Jesus gave, was in the name of Jesus.

Thus, the Name of the Father, And the son And the Holy Ghost, is Jesus. That is teh name. God is one.

  • @waters129 Amen brother! Praise God. "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." People need to know this! If people believe there is a trinity when they are baptized, there probably not going to be filled with the Holy Ghost.

  • @badamasjj nonsense. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. One God. Like miracles, we believe in it, but can not understand it wholly. Pardon the pun.

  • @Roggiedodgie

I LOVE the pun--"holy" vs. "wholly"!

  • @Erlo3 Thanks, it's a rarity for me, but once in a while I'll put one together

  • @pastorgeoff ONE GOD NO trinity
