  • veeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyy fast fish

  • gaw

  • thats pretty good except the song

  • its very pretty and do you have any mollys

  • if u shop at petsmart u kan get a 10 gal filter for 14 bucks and a heater for 7 bucks

  • what is that song called

  • gay song

  • Nice setup and fish, good song teww!

  • i have 27 fish in my ten gallon

  • comment

  • nice tank but you should get some real short plants in the middle/front that would make it better

  • nice lil setup but lose the air bubbles streaming up - those things are like rockets flying through the tank, really disturb the sleep paterns of the fish and knock them around.

  • How long haver they all been alive?

  • nice tank, how is it doing now/

  • VERY NICE AQUARIUM !!!!! :)

  • Very nice. I'd like to see bigger fish tho.

  • thanks, but i have already decided on something else.

  • i am getting a 10 gallon, what do you think of my stocking plan:

    3 platys,

    4 corydoras,

    5 ember tetras,

2 or 3 pygmy hatchetfish. what do you think?

  • @kmscutie132 nice, its slightly overstocked but so is my 15 gallon, it makes it look better ;)

  • can i piss in this tank?

  • that's a nice little tank...

  • very cute tank!!! but won't the red tailed shark eventually get to big?

  • cool tank

  • some nasty bit of info i learned. even though ottos dont usually eat plants, i bought green marine algae (which he loves since he doesnt like the algae pellets) BUT he grew to twice his size in like a month and since id only put the algae in every other day, he started eating my live plants xD

  • add some larger plants in the background; it adds a apperance of depth to the tank and makes the fish feel homier(:

  • nice

  • love your tank :]

  • do ur bloodfins chase eachother around?

  • What light are you using?

  • cool man

  • hey i have a 10 gallon tank with 3 guppies one is pregnant and i have a sword tail in it what els should i get if there is enough room

  • I love your tank, you should check out my latest update on my tropical planted aquarium.

  • did the redtail shark eat any of your fiah

  • Hi, um I have a question on changing the filter cartridges on the ex20 and was wondering if you'd be kind enough to help? I changed the cartridge and placed it back, but it won't filter. Any ideas if I did something wrong? The water levels fine, too.

  • @alexisdstar did you put the filter in the right way? if it is then if you feed your fish twice a day and the water isn't clear. try feeding them once a day and make sure you don't give them too much.

  • I have a ten gal and I had four young mollies and then suddenly three disappeared! lol and I had a red tail shark, but with the red fins. So I put the last one in the pond with the guppies. But now im going to get the shark again and maybe some guppies, do they get along with guppies with fancy tails?

  • Red-tail sharks can be pretty aggressive towards community fish like guppies. They get even more aggressive when they're in a small 10 gallon. I just started getting into cichlids. You should check them out. Convict cichlids are good to start out with.

  • @yutripn omg i had convicts i had 10 of them in a 100 gallon tank, and when they bred, after i tried to get the babies into the other tank, my male was so agressive that he was biting and pushing my hand away! anyway, nice tank

  • @chiliandcandy i think you had a rainbow shark, i thought i bought a red tailed shark but it turned out to be a rainbow shark. redtail sharks just have a red tail and are sometimes darker and rainbow sharks have red fins and tail with a light color. just thought i would let you know...

  • @chiliandcandy did you even do some research.... ok um thats called a rainbow shark cause it has red fins there similar or a distant cousin of the red tail shark and red tail shark are very agressive and territorial fish and 10 gallons is not gonna cut it for them get at least a 20 and red tail or rainbow sharks are semi tropical aggressive and guppies are comunity fish and i would not recommend guppies cause they breed like crazy just get some neon tetras or a gurami with the neons

  • I have the exact same shark as in this video in my 55 gallon and it is called a Red Tail Shark. The rainbow sharks i believe are actually kinda tan with orangish red fins. I could be wrong, but I bought it at Petco and it that is what it was called. I think the shark is prob one of my favorites in my tank right now besides a couple gouramis that I have also

  • @rusc2008 um its a rainbow shark and if i where you i would not trust petco for fish info and the difference with them is that red tail shark all of its fins are black including the body but its tail is black the rainbow shark is a little lighter color of black and his fins and tail are orange or red lol

  • @fishoexplotion1 lol I dont care what you say, my fish is a completely black shark with a red as red gets "tail" so its a fucking red tailed shark.

  • @rusc2008 wait no your completely right ya that is a red tailed sorry my misstake cause i thought i saw it with orange fins

  • thats a nice tank but I hope you have plans for a bigger tank in the future because most of those fish will out grow that tank

  • looks a little crowded

  • Very active looking tank!

However, a 10 gallon is NO where near big enough for a red tailed shark, molly or swordtail. Mollys and swordtails need tanks of about 16 gallons + and a red tailed shark needs a whopping 40 gallons.

Please consider rehoming these fish and getting more otos and tetras. These are shoaling fish that should be in groups of 5+.

A good stock would be 5 bloodfins, 5 silver tips and 5 otos.

  • ur right about the shark but platies and mollys thrive in 5 plus aquriums 5 bloodfins 5silvertip and 5otos first of al 15 fish should not be cramed in a 10gallon 1 inch of fish per gallon.but ur tank overall is complety fine

  • @rudbucket I find it hilarious that you say that 15 small fish cannot fit into a 10 gallon (with suitable decor and filtration) and yet you think a 4-6 inch molly can go in a 5 gallon >.<

I personally would not keep any of those fish in a 10 gallon, with the possible exception of the otos. However, 10 tetras and some bottom feeders is far preferable to a mass of 4-8 inch fish that are crammed and miserable.

I wouldn't get anywhere with the owner if I said "rehome 90% of your stock NOW!"

  • @Spyderling Yes, a redtail shark is too small for a ten gallon, but no way it needs a forty! I guess neons need a 25?

  • @bobbyd96 Size wise, you could get away with a RTBS in a 3 foot tank with a decent volume (20-30 gallons imperial gallons). However, due to their high aggression levels and need for a large territory, you need upwards of 40 gallons (at least 4 foot) if you want to keep them in a community with any success. They get to between 6 and 8 inches, sometimes more, and the tank should be determined by adult size, waste output and behavior/aggression.

  • is all you need for tropical fish is a tank, heater, filter, plants, water, conditioner, decor, substrate?

  • yeah thats the gist of it. you can also get an air pump with an air stone, so you can cycle the water a bit better

  • oh yea forgot to put that on. and with the heater, should i just plug it in and turn it on and it will heat the water to the right temp? and do i need any aquarium salt or any of that stuff?I know to get the aquasafe water conditioner but is that the only chemical i need in the water?also, should i get the tank and setup all the supplies and everything and let it cycle for a week or so before adding fish?

  • @bamf64 yeah when I first got my 10 gallon going, I only had the filter water hitting the water causing the bubbles. My fish were very slow and looked lazy. I found my old air pump with air stone hooked that up, what a difference!

  • @bamf64

depending on climate and fish type you dont even need a heater, plants arent nesssecary, i would also reccomend freshwater aquarium salt. 2 tablespoons or a lil less per 10 gallons, added every water change. can add directly or dillute in cup

  • nice tank, are there live plants?

  • yeah the plants in the middle are real

  • im getting a red taild shark tomarrow wat do i do to keep the tank clean?

  • What size tank did u put it in

  • im starting a new tank with my old tank about 25 or 35gal. im getting live and fake plants, decorations, 1 pleco, 4 mollies, somesot of a catfish (small), and some neon tetras. can someone tell me if this is a good tank set up

  • im getting a 10 gallon tank soon and i wanted a rainbow shark or a red tail shark like u have and i was wondering do they do good with the fish u have

and if u know ur aquarium fish do u think one of them would do with a gourami?

plz reply back from a comment or message me plz

  • yeah they do fine with either shark, but they tend to get territorial. That is why you see the shark chasing the other fish in the video. So i would recommend getting a larger tank.

The fish i have in the video will do fine with a gourami, just don't get semi-aggressive fish like tiger barbs.

  • ok thanks that helps a lot

  • DO NOT get a rainbow shark for a 10 gallon unless you plan on moving him to a much larger tank

they get like a foot long

  • not very often but they can .

  • i was only going by what i had seen in another video

  • ok no problem. but i did say that i do know that thyey can get that size. what video was that any way

  • i dont remember

  • nice tank check out mine?? and tell me wat u think but i got a hood know

  • Nice Set Up.

  • Thank you

  • xx Beautiful fish and set up! xx
