I think we're very close to shutting down universities, they don't really offer anything to the society. It's better if all those kids work in the construction sector (aka oikodomi). The idea of all the poeple going to uni is a luxury that a poor country like GReece cannot afford.

During May and June, the ministry of education and religion affairs ,in Greece, decided to pass a very very bad law:P(not all books should be free,students who would 'nt complete their studies in a certain period would be expelled from their universities,it would become much much easier for the police to enter the campus etc..)As a result the students decided to take over their schools and organized large protests against the upcoming changes.As a result they encountered police's brutality
