  • I saw this comment once and it made a good point it said if you autistic or not autistic guarded or unguarded it's still pretty hard to make six threes in a row try it's pretty hard

  • why isn't anyone rushing him when he has the ball? Seems kinda rigged to me, noone rushes him at all, all the footage is edited to just the shot and nothing else. Why isn't there any footage of the actual game to watch? A kid that's 5'6 is hitting threes with no pressure doesnt seem realistic to me. Just saying, everyone seems to believe everything they see, I just don't buy it without more proof, this seems to be a setup for publicity.

  • @epeatgold Yes you are correct, there is a lot to this story that is conveniently left out. And this kid turned into a major douche after this event which was set up by the coaches anyway to make him feel good about himself. People who tend to get emotional and respond to my comments with personal attacks tend to be from far away from Rochester/Greece, NY and I would like to invite them to come to Greece, NY and experience this douche before acting like they know from some propaganda video.

  • And now the Razzie award for worst mind in the world goes to Jasin McFuckwain.

  • makes me glad i play basketball :)

  • i felt bad for him and gave him the befefit of the doubt but the kids a fucking asshole, wenever his school would play my school he would come to our sidelines and talk shit to the fans hes a prick, i drove by him today actually and he thought i was gonna stop for him cause he attempted to j walk and i didnt stop and he started shit talking hes a dick and is extremely cocky call me an asshole but im saying the ohnest truth no one in irondequoit or any other rochester school likes him

  • @andrewizzle3 yes you are correct, these people who defend this douchey kid have never experienced him, they are always from far away. People in Greece and Rochester know this kid is a big douche who needs to learn some manners.

  • hes an asshole in real life

  • My daughter has two siblings with autism.

  • They didn't even try to defend the kid, the disability is exaggerated, the story is bullshit

  • Hey fuck bag I guarantee you if you went out 100 times all alone and nobody around you couldn't even make this series of shots. It says volumes about you when someone with a disability upsets you this much. Your life must be shit jonni.

  • 31 years old Jonni and you seem to defend those in need being anti racist ( which is cool) and a punk rock attitude ( also cool), thus I find it utterly bizarre you would jump on this kid. Nice life.

  • J-Mac made all the shots.

  • J-Mac is my hero!

  • In an era where, individual achievements are emphasized more often than not. I invite you to read an article about what I feel should be a focal point in organized sport. TEAMWORK and SELF SACRIFE.

  • Great story

  • Loved this. No matter how you look at it, it's a story of the human spirit. No, he didn't do it alone. It took everyone in that auditorium to make this happen. Enormous fame is frightening for the average person. God bless the J Mac story, and all the people it reaches who have little or no hope.

  • im from rochester and he is an autistic asshole he is the biggest one you will meet. fuck you retard/

  • Hey stab, you are into muscle cars, UFC, and have a Frankie J video saved. It speaks volumes about you. This, and you are jealous of a kid with special needs. Nice shitty life you have. You are from Rochester, and you will never get out. You are bitter white trash.

  • Probably you are a big asshole yourself and spending time in a state prison.

  • Read the Book and you get more info on it. Its A miracle how far this kid come I"m Happy for Him.

  • Does the media really need to create a hero for the masses so badly that they take a douchey kid, exaggerate his disability, put him on a basketball court, tell the other team not to defend against him, and then act as if this is actually worthy of a movie deal? LOL J-mac is a douche and he's not even that messed up. AND THEY DIDNT EVEN DEFEND HIM THE OTHER TEAM'S COACH SAID TO LAY OFF 52 HE'S A HANDICAPPED

  • JonniDDR, you are so pathetic that you are so jealous from a physically challenged person. I think you are really so messed up that you need to be put in a mental hospital.

  • Did they even win the game?

  • he got on court when his team was 20 points ahead

  • lol, what a gay fucking retard. he should be rotting in a wheelchair. look at his fucking head

  • LovelessLulz, I pity you. If you are not a maggot, probably you are fag.

  • you couldnt hit 6 threes undefended.. what the heck? .. this kid had a disability and you're dissing him playing better than you?

  • Is there ever gonna be an All-Autism Team? JMac would star. Also, McElwain is not a Jewish name. It's like an episode from Life Goes On.

  • Your English is bad. You are so pathetic. Yeah, right, you're out of Rochester because you are now in a state prison.

  • I would be his friend, since I have Asperger Syndrome

  • Cool! How is it like having aspergers?

  • it sucks ass

  • having Asperger's is a living hell, you don't fit in with the party scene, or just popular, fun, outgoing people when you have this condition, or maybe it's just me?

  • extraordinario

  • my inspiration before every game j-mac. thanks

  • Incredible human interest... basketball wow

  • This is so amazing. He puts more heart in the game than some NBA players i've seen.

  • this was amazing, i watched this for the first time, the first time it played on cbs news, it was the most amazing thing i ever saw

  • man...that's almost 6pts a minute...pretty damn nice.

  • Inspiring story worthy of a top story spot any day....

  • Check out Alabama & raiding profiles ... Im sure Jmac gets more play than you 2 losers.. (over 800 videos watched in the last 3 months WOW)... The only ass you 2 faggots are getting is each others!

  • you're clearly a piece of shit, and don't deserve to be breathing.

  • Might be best sports story ever!!

  • No, When We Beat The Russians In The Wnter Olympics, That Was The Best Sports Moment Ever!!!!!

  • That's it AlabamaFTW. I am blocking your Nazi ass.

  • You know alamba and raiding ur just jealous that an autistic boy can do more then you ever will, id like to see you score 20 points in 4 minutes, hes more famous then you ever will be so go cut urself u emo faggots JMac owns you.

  • How can you live with yourself?

  • suck a dick

  • great story

  • 20 points in 4 minutes, nice! Give that coach credit for playing Jason. That is awesome!

  • Clearly, by your cruel comment, Jason has more today than you'll ever have in a lifetime. And that's the truth.

  • Wow what a feel good story...Inspiring

  • That truly comes direct from a ignorant redneck Alabama backwards Ass like you. Just because your Dad did that to you doesn't mean that you can F---k someone else.

  • Are you AlabamaFTW brother and miss daddy's attention so you take out your anger in ignorant ways ? Well read the comment I wrote to him applies to you to. Or maybe you are angry beause someone never beleived in you.

So have a nice life with daddy

  • Laying off or not it is still something for the kid to hit the basket.

  • Truelly Amazing, Winning!

  • amazing

  • Your team may have eased up on the defense - but those three point shots were flippen amazing - that took skill, concentration during intense pressure and the love he had for his sport.

  • You're a prick, razorsandlemonjuice!

  • no ......you guys didnt take it easy on him, you guys just suck ass he owned you badly!!

  • god always had a plan you that boy

  • SO SSSSICK!

  • all his shots were Gods doing and He made this kids life

  • What a kid

  • no..not funny seriously how the hell is that at all funny...wow

  • it is like your name you know not your real name but your youtube user name

  • AMAZING!!!

  • one of the most amazing story that has ever been told a great famiy movie for all ages when and if it comes out

  • I don't follow religion but I believe in a higher power. Moments likes this is an example of what is called "grace". Everybody won that night. Everyone! It should be like that all over the world.

Don't be upset at the people on here who have made ugly comments about this boy. It's because they make ugly comments to themselves first. It's what's inside them.

  • Why did he only play one game??

  • amazing. best story of all time. This particular video is the best of all the Jmac videos. The 2nd best being the raw HS video.

  • Oh, I remember wathcing this!!! My brother was watching ESPN, and I saw it!

  • wow. hes really good.

    touching :[

  • it made me cry

  • What a great and inspirational story for all to see and be apart of! I'm from upstate NY and remember when this took place. J-MAC is the man for sure!

  • Great story, but they sure ran up the score!

  • i live in the same town as him and i used to play basketball with him at the Y he would destroy me all the time

  • The greatest sports story ever told. Makes me tear up every time I see it.

  • One of the best feel-good stories of all time. Thanks ESPN for the video. But, many thanks to JMAC, we'll never forget your moment in time!!

  • This was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I love this videoo!

  • It's a wonderful story...wish they laid off on the hollywood OTT treatment, dramatic music, etc, though, as it really takes away from what happened. ESPN's treatment is totally over-sentimental. What Jason did is powerful enough and a super achievement...just show the unedited video! Or at least get rid of that twee Hollywood music and shoot the wannabe movie commentator. Don't get me wrong..this is a superb story...I feel it would be even stronger if handled differently. :) Well done Jason.

  • Yes, ESPN's fluff actually numbed the story down a little. The pure authentic footage is the best.

  • There should be more affordable after school programs available for all children with autism. Volunteering can make such a difference in a child's life.

  • My two sons are autistic, and JMAC means more to me than anyone will ever know.

  • The only video that has ever brought tears of joy to my eyes.

  • Thanks for posting this, I saw it on the news...Amazing I hope he makes it to the NBA

  • IMHO the best of JMac videos. A keeper.

  • An oldie but a goodie. One of the best (sports) stories ever.

  • Hot stuff!
