Every major power "has" waned, i.e. that is history. And the purpose of history is to analyze the human experience and discover what happened. This perpetual theme is not deterministic and therefore we are not necessarily doomed to this fate. When we analyze each of these civilizations we discover that their ends came about from the excesses of government. We are indeed on the precipice, but we aren't "fated" to this end, it's still avoidable and Americans are adaptive.

Haha after hearing 5 seconds I had to turn it off, this guy has NO idea what he is talking about. Muslims in France???? That's funny because pretty much all of Europe (France included) just passed a burka-ban against the muslims! And Sarkozy, is the most anti-muslim person on the planet. Of course Mark Steyn is right but their are few of the educated liberalized nutters who realize these facts today...few and yet the use of common sense and real brains is not lost on us all. The watching majorities are more than waking up, they have found a voice in the internet and this will translate into not only the cyber world but the real one because the cyber world is dissemenating the liberalist nutters safety zones! Come on world wake up, Islam is on its last great crusade for Humanity!
