Dave Mustaine has gotten better (vocals and guitar) with age. I like all their albums, especially Rust in Peace, but Endgame is my favorite simply because it's the only one in which I can stand his voice. Therefore my fave Megadeth song is my fave off of Endgame which is How the Story Ends.

His voice was pretty good in Sweating Bullets, though. Not so much on Holy Wars, but the guitars are insane on that song.

James has the better voice in every aspect by far.

The only thing holding Megadeth back is Mustaine's vocals, which I find grating. Megadeth would be as good or better than Metallica if Dave became lead guitarist and hired a real vocalist.

I disagree, i think megadeth's defining attribute are Daves instantly recognizable vocals, i think thats what makes megadeth so great. But i respect your opinion, i just like dave a whole lot better, also, since james blew his voice out, you must admit that dave is now the better singer.

Oh, i dont think so, Mustaine´s animated cartoon voice is what makes him different of other vocalist. Remember King Diamonds high pitched voice; is almost ridiculos... but his technic its so great and... there is no other voice like his.
