Seventies Glam Rock kept my imagination alive when I was growing up in the dull Eighties - it's good to know that the genre hasn't been entirely forgotten :) I disagree with the observation made about Bolan though - he never moved on musically because he always had the glam rock persona, whereas Bowie merely adopted the style temporarily in his usual chameleonic way of reflecting the zeitgeist.
