The pitch "correction" as you're calling it, doesn't illustrate that the guy can't sing. It shows his consistency. TPain uses it cause he sucks. MGMT uses it cause it sounds sweet. The dude can sing, check other live videos.

Sorry, but I've never found autotune be anything other than obnoxious. Virtually everything on the radio anymore is autotuned.  I'm SO SICK of everybody sounding like robots.

I mean don't get me wrong, there's a lot of good modern music out there, but it's not gonna be that hip hop shit. Indie Rock is how the true spirit of rock n roll is carried on through modern times.

@jslebs09 I don't think they're even using autotune or anything like that. Their vocals have that effect because at least two or three of the band members are singing at once, so their vocals have a very layered effect... But I completely agree with you, that they can all sing very well, autotune or not

I think most bands use pitch correction in these videos as they're used for promotion (TOTP is another example). The only ones who don't are the experienced, senior ones such as Muse or Coldplay.

they're not using pitch corrections. idk what that even is. and your probly thinking of a voice box effect which they are not using either. theire voices a being ran through the synth to alter their pitch. no "voice corrections" here
