Unemployment under Obama after 2.5 years: 9.2%. Unemployment under Rick Perry after 12 years: 8.2%. Unemployment under Mitt Romney after 4 years: 4.7%.
Nationalize those numbers and you'd have 10 million more jobs under Romney than either Perry or Obama.
Mitt understands what makes the economy tick. Let's take back the economy for the private sector! Vote Mitt in 2012!!!
@HamalSharatan How is that dangerous????? Who do you think owns and runs corpoarations, people. If you tax corporations, who do you tax, people. Corporations are recognized by the law to have rights and responsibilities like natural persons ("people"). They can exercise human rights against people and the state, and they can be responsible for human rights violations. They are conceptually immortal but they can "die" when they are "dissolved" either by statutory operation, order of court, or voluntary action on the part of shareholders. Insolvency may result in a form of corporate 'death." They can even be convicted of criminal offenses,
@jedmerrill excellent post! couldn't agree more. Mitt's understanding of the complicated issues that face america is incredible and comes from a lifetime of work in the private sector. He distills it down to simple and understandable terms. Go Mitt!
You're a fucking idiot if you think the neo-con Mitt Romney means a word he says. Romney has no integrity whatsoever and I would bet my life that as soon as he gets into the white house it will be business as usual. In voting for him, you're voting for a snake-oil salesman.
Ugh, its been about 35 seconds, and Mitts EMPTY "founding fathers" rhetoric has got my stomach churning. Its sad that most Americans can only understand his kindergarten style "things now bad. Me make things better" "We need freedom. Me return America to its great principals." As opposed to Ron Paul's actual Ideas.
Everyone just outlines Paul's substance and parrots it as rhetoric now.
Wow Mitt.... raising the point that we shouldn't ask those that got us in this mess to get us out, or trust them to get us out? I remember Ron Paul saying that about YOU and the other republican cadidates back in 08 when talking about Iraq and other issues that you supported at the time. But as the voters started to become more concerned with "tea party" type issues, you started sounding like Ron Paul a little... just like the rest of them. I remember when Ted Kennedy debated Mitt years ago
RON PAUL! RON PAUL! RON PAUL! Look at how these other people just get up and play off of Ron Paul and his views ... Man Ron Paul has been saying the same thing before this 2012 campain ... RON PAUL! RON PAUL! RON PAUL!
Ron Paul answers his questions with so much detail showing his depth of knowledge of all the issues. He schooled everyone there and everyone watching.
Romney`s answers were so broad and general. It felt like he was telling a story to a bunch of children.
And also, MItt is talking people, politics and not ideas. Probably because he doesn't have any ideas other than how he can personally gain power and influence. That's a politician like Romney's interest.
And Romney makes it sound like the people taking out the loans were the liars in the "liar loans" when actually it was the banks that encouraged the lying. "Ohhh yeah... why don't you write $50,000 it'll get you a lower interest rate"... and the mortgage banker a bonus for having sold another loan which was then packaged as a financial product and sold to other people as a AAA investment.
Romney says "the older I get the more interested I am in the ideas of the founders" - actually, the more Republican primary voters are interested in these ideas that more he acts interested in them. Mitt is such a fraud.
14th Amendment didn't grant NEW power to the federal government. It just extended the protections of White Citizens to that of the freed slaves and to corporations.
I think that Princeton Professor Robert George needs to study history.
Romney understands the economy and how the federal government affects it. If you listen and understand what he says you cannot help but know the man is brilliant!
@Morghost Did romney predict the housing bubble>?nope,in '07 he told us housing prices would remain strong_Did he warn of the evil of QE1,2 or 3>? nope. He told us bernake was doing a good job_Did he speak out against state mandated healthcare before it was enacted on the federal level>? nope. He enacted it on a state level_ What about war>? He supported all of them when a republican was in office, Now hes against um that a dem is in office. check ron pauls record. it has not changed once
MITT rOBAMAy - A vote for him will be the straw that broke the camels back....
Plus, Mitt is no tea party member. Anyone who says they are a tea party member and supports Mitt rOBAMAy are in a sheep suit. Just open the zipper and you'll see the wolf inside.
Mitt Robamay is big government, "we the people" don't need big government anymore. Rick Perry didn't show because he knows he can't hold a cup of water to Ron Paul.
Dr. Paul's Achilles' heel is he is a secessionist. It is a cultural bias in the region he was raised to resist Federal enforcement of our Constitution. Call it the Southern block. We see it here in Dr. Paul's backward answer for the 14th Amendment question. If abortions are to Dr. Paul a matter of life and death, he would support a Federal ban. But secession is part of his dogma.
This debate is staged, setting up Romney and Gingrich to look good to a controlled opposition split by secession.
@ghost0441 He panders to Texans for a living. Secession is popular there. If he believed abortion denied a right to life he would support a FEDERAL ban. But he is a panderer. Corruption at the Federal, state, county and city level must be prosecuted by strong willed citizens. Not shirked. Dr. Paul is YOUR Obama. More controlled opposition designed to give you hope. He does not even bring up the $TRILLIONS unaccounted for at the Pentagon which Rumsfeld called Terrifying 1 day before 9-11.
The most secessionist state in the union is California. They have tried secession multiple times this century and are still in talks to split the state in 2 . Secession is not a regional ideal. Dr. Paul is not my Obama because unlike Paul, Obama can't seem to keep his word about anything except his unwanted health care plan. You obviously didn't listen to the debate because he said he does NOT support a federal ban, but instead wants it back in the hands of the states.
@ghost0441 That is the point of my comment. If abortion is opposed on the grounds that it denies life, a Constitutionalist opposes it for the entire USA. We cannot have states which do not protect life equally under the law. Dr. Paul is not interested in protecting life on Constitutional grounds. He would (as Romney would) shirk making a Constitutional argument for life, AND panders to the main stream secession crowd. It is typical of a politician with no guts. We need a tiger.
@StratusBlue Constitutionally would a blanket ban on abortions across the country outlaw abortions that threatens the life of the mother? Paul believes abortion to be an act of violence. Paul also believes the more difficult and controversial the topic, the more it should be handled on a state and local level and not by big brother US Govt. "I would rather be exposed to the inconvenience attending too much Liberty than those attending too small degree of it".- Thomas Jefferson
Then you do not understand the constitutionalist's point of view. Abortion is not covered specifically in any amendment, therefore the right lies with the states. That is the constitutional view. More liberal states like California will probably uphold Roe Vs. Wade and more conservative states probably will not. It is about LIMITING Federal power in all forms even on something that he is against such as abortion.
I find it funny that anti-Paul people have to fight so hard to argue against his policies, If he had bad policies they would be easy to argue against would they not? Perhaps if they studied his policies more vs. the rest, they'd realize he has put more thought into them than any of the others, and has not changed them for 30 years, because he doesn't need to, they all promote more liberty, and economic freedom, because they are all what the constitution advocates.Ron Paul 2012

this guy is just a rich dude with hair gel, funded by special interests. RON PAUL is none of that, funded by individuals...completely consistent record. romney is a tool.

Dr. Ron Paul doesn't prepare speeches, he creates epicness spontaneously.

Nothing about the FED. Softball questions. Skimming answers. Romney care. Status quo. Good grief if he gets in. Want more war? Vote Romney.

The USA is a Republic, Mitt, not a democracy. Who funds your campaign, Mitt? He disses ObamaCare, which was based on RomneyCare??? LOL Too funny! We the People are sick of the same-old, same-old, Mitt. You and your ilk are part of the problem, not part of the solution.

@jimlap777 I would vote for Ron Paul based on substance because he has NOT been coached in speaking sound bite like all the other slicksters. If you want flash and continual b.s. then vote for any of the others.
