I didn't use a meter for the actual picture, but I did use a meter to note the differences in luminance when you vary the distance of the light to reflector and subject to reflector, and light to subject.
Other photographers on here make it seem as if you need to have like a million lights and reflectors and flahes and all this unnecessary stuff to have a good photo..You have proved them wrong.
It's not really about proving them wrong. It's just showing a different way of doing things. There are times, levels [level meaning status of client/job], and etc where you will require the more expensive stuff, as well as more of it.
Yeah. I understand that, but for the most part, photographers only own expensive items because it impresses the clients and it makes them seem more professional. I was watching a video on youtube and there was a photographer who had very expensive equipment and had no idea how to work it and his photographs came out horrible. My thing is, people just want photographs that makes them look good. I don't think spending hundreds of thousands of dollars is necessary to do that.
