Yeah man i was learning this song and for some reason it kept screeching on me. Then I thought "Maybe I'm playing too technically, maybe I'm not supposed be so strict on embrochure." So figuratively I just let the sax play itself. Stopped buzzing, stopped screeching and the sound came out magnificently. So, my friend, what you said rings true a million times.

u seem to know alot about saxofone, i would like to have a direct honest unswer to my question please: is it possible for a beginner like me to learn sax whitout even studying solfege, music stuff, coz i studied that when i was little but i stoped? so ?

some bass and guitar players use tablature sistem to avoid music reading. i couldnt imagine someone trying to read a series of sax graphics showing open and closed keys of a wind instrument, it would be far more complicated than learn reading music, actually on a wind instrument you learn that simultaneosly with the instrument technique
