So jim was shot by a guy and for a few days melinda couldn't see jim, untill a few days later. she also saw another goast and the guy who shot jim...----well aa girl was bothering mel, and she had anerexia and the guy who shot jim was the girl's step father. does that help?

Well I don't won't to spoil it for anyone...actually I don't think this is spoiling cause we all know Jay Mohr has his own show. So most people believe it's him whos dead. But the season primere(that just aired, GREAT EPISODE by the way) has him leaving for some trip to study artifacts and what not. So it has him leaving (to act in his show) instead of killing him off.

Sadly though...I think it's Jim, if you have ever counted the shadows on the last episode. But I don't know,I could be wrong

I just watched and REWATCHED the last episode from season 3 and even rewound it for details. There is no way professor Rick Payne can be the one who is dead because right before Melinda and her mom walked over to the crowd, I saw Jim talking to and even smack Rick on the arm, how can he do that if he is dead? Also, other people were talking to him. The only person no one talked to other than Melinda was her mom. I think her mom is the one who is dead. It's the only sensible answer.

Duh its Payne. Out of all six people only Melinda and her mom can see ghosts, so if one of those six people is a ghost, they could be the only ones aware of it. Since Payne counted six, he has to be the ghost.
