Pause at 0:13, this is where any street fighter would throw an instand uppercut to his jaw, breaking his jaw, and then dropping, grabbing, his knees and taking him down... absolutely shocked anyone would want to learn this bullshido. And by the way real combat eye gougin is done in a split second, at which point the enemy is already dissabled! I feel sorry for his students. Also ear control is not that easy as he is showing, any common fighter will block his hands long before he gets to the ear.

What makes me laugh is people who talk smack on the net about stuff, like "oh I could have done this or that." It reminds me of people watching a video of themselves losing and whining about it. Very effective. I like these kinds of self-defense courses but it doesn't really go deep enough. Traditional kung fu systems like Wing Chun or Hakka-styles have pretty much the same basic principles but focus more on the artful and spiritual side. If you are a balanced individual on a spiritual level, you'll be much more sensitive in recognizing and avoiding the threats that self-defense teachers warn you about. Off course, combining self-defense with self-development is the ultimate dream.

I've been shredded by Rich at a seminar. Devastating even on a "training" level. I had no idea what hit me, next thing you know I was down and my face and body had felt like it been mauled with Rich standing over me with a concerned smile. Yes, I had asked for it to be done to me. I just had to feel it for myself from the man himself. No one wants any part of that in real life.

Senshido appears to be Sloppy fighting but I absolutely LOVE the psychological principals behind it!!! Actually I can't make out any style at all..It seems that the principals behind the moves are more important than the techniques (if you wanna call them that :) Themselves!
