Back then Amoco had just introduced unleaded gasoline to its 15-state marketing area in the Midwest and Rockies that used the name "Standard" (for Standard Oil Of Indiana). American offered unleaded gas in the East and South starting in 1915 and was the only one to do so until the 70s. The premium lead-free in the gold pump was not available to Midwestern Standard-territory motorists until 1977.

Hey my name is joe cash. Yes related to the man. I've never know my grandfather to do this commercial. But I did try to look up the ford commercial he did a while back... Couldn't find it... Kool video by the way.

Intersting Advertisement!! (The Late) Johnny Cash did well in the Amoco Commercial from 1972. Amoco was a stand alone company; BP has control of Amoco Oil. A Solid 5!!
