Joe's now singing what he is best at. While I liked most of his Ambitions CD, this is the type of song that emphasizes how gifted he is as a singer. I know I have to be one of his biggest fans; he never ceases to amaze me. Joe, please come and visit the US; there are LOTS of us over here who would make you feel welcomed.

@virginiaman49 Everything you say is true and, like you, I watch Joe's X-Factor performances again and again. I was so disappointed in his early releases though. He has too beautiful a voice to spend it entirely on falsetto performances. Simon Cowell often points out to performers how one song can change one's life. So happy to hear his "Classics" and believe Joe himself will become one of our classics, too. Love everything about him!

Ok I thought he was openly gay. So I was really EXCITED he would sing this song, but replacing the word "he" with "she" is a shame. As a gay man I have felt the meaning of this song and it would have been nice if Joe who has an amazing voice would have done it right. Oh well, maybe someday it will happen. I thought Brits were progressive, I live in America and it would be nice to have some openly gay pop stars to look up to that are not afraid to show their true colors.

@terrystone09 Each time I replay this I also long to hear him use the masculine form. My partner and I were together from my 18th summer - when he was 21. Losing him after nearly half a century together - as Autumn 2008 approached - truly gives great personal meaning to this song done the "right" way. I would also love to hear Joe sing "Somewhere" from West Side Story. Today's gay kids have much to be grateful to the Stonewall generation for. Maybe Joe changes the words when singing live.
