Paul was unlucky not to win this final they both ran 50 sec in the eliminator plus paul had bad ribs and scoops only won coz he had the headstart , i got the eliminator on dvd ill try and upload it!!!

I wonder why in the UK there's a 60-second time limit as oppose to a 45-second time limit in the US.

My guess is the UK people wanted to add one element that the American show didn't truly emphasize. Endurance. That and in America, there were too many commercial breaks to go through for a 1 hour show.

Higher scores. Look at how huge the Powerball area was compared to the US show. There was a lot more room to maneuver in the UK show. Combine the larger playing area with 15 extra seconds, and scores go up.

As for commercial breaks, that's just American TV standards. You have to have a certain amount of commercial minutes per TV block.
