Gadgets copy Widgets- or confabulator(yahoo widgets)or desktopX (all before dashboard)
Microsoft Mail copies Apple Mail- or outlook express(more likely since it's a microsoft program since win95) you could even say it's the other way around.
Desktop Search copies Spotlight- or msn desktop search (released about the same time as spotlight)
Flip 3D copies Exposé- Yes totaly and they are both useless, alt/command tab is much easier/intuitive.
