This is a story ive herd growing up in taunton ma 1. Taunton state was a place where they did all kinds of strange shit to the people that were 2. Id you tryed to escape they killed you
(I know I'm replying to a year-old question). I live within walking distace of the facility, and as far as I know, the "unused" portion of the property is strictly off-limits to urban explorers, for obvious reasons.
But..if there's a will, there's a way. >;) Enjoyed this vid immensely!
I used to live just down the street from this place,in Norton.. when it was up and running in the late 1970's, way before they built Miles Standish Industrial park....I'm not sure when it finally closed there doors...never heard of any abuse going on in there,,,but, back in those days, Institutions could get away with practically anything
@Asylum609 39, but ya, a lot of people split from the cold. A lot of snow birds here. :) I'm in Daytona Beach. As a matter of fact Octoberfest is just starting, I can hear the bikes now, I'm on beach side. Not much to see and do for me in Taunton, you know? I was bored there. The only hard part was, after I left my grown kids, they married and each has a baby now. :( I miss them, but not the cold and drama, that was there, just them. I visit as often as I can though.
I was sent there as a child to the taunton IRTP there is a couple ghosts that place is haunted i saw it first hand as a child i lived in goss building for 2 1/2 years im now 23 years old and it creeps me out seeing this video
Um... It might just be artifacts from the video compression, but there are a couple of anomalies in the black of the left tunnel in the fallout shelter footage.
I heard that in the old days, during a full moon, you could hear howling from there. I once went in there and one of the crazies thought I was Ringo Star...She tried to hug me and followed me around until they had to grab her.
i have been there like 5 times when i was younger, and let me tell you.. shit is haunted me and my friend know first hand.. no bullshit. some crazy shit happen one night.
is it still worth going in this place ever since the fire cause im going to paul dever in a few weekends and paul dever is really nothing compared to Taunton State lol and i heard lately alot more security is it worth trying to get in or just take my chances at Paul Dever

@Asylum609 I lived on Morton St. A fence connecting TSH and where I lived. I grew up in Taunton. 39 years straight, in MA. But now I live in FL.

I just went by there today. They are starting to tear down the old part of the hospital. The part shown in the video here.

i went there last night! it was amazing! have to climb a 15 ft fense tho haha. you should be athletic if ur going to attempt this!
