The only place in the world I really have a burning desire to see is Moscow and St. Petersburg. I would love to go to both those cities. Vladimir Putin, Make it easy for an American to travel there. I need a visa, an invitation, I must register with police, and get a stamp everyday to account for my whereabouts. I understand the US red tape is identical but there are not to many americans who are going to live there illegally. The US does it to keep the illegals out, or people who overstay.

1) Not being 40 years in communism, you wouldn't have so many of us now in the UK looking for better life because our home counties economies are weak and life for common people in Western Europe easier (many of Eastern European countries are getting better now but it's a long proces)...so if you have few imigrants talking in negatives about Russia, they might have personal first hand experience
