Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer: Review & Demo

Me and my friend went to lawtons and we bought the concealer for only 2 $ It was a good sale!!!

They discontinued certain shades. Now there are three in all, with the lightest being beige. In other words fair skinned girls need a new concealer :/

@nemoryer sometimes I skip foundation and just use this, but if you mean using it all over your face, you'd probably use a lot of the product and go through it pretty quickly!!

@ployy111 Maybe try doing a few light layers. Sometimes it helps to build the product up a bit :)

I have a real hard time choosing a concealer because I have really bad undereye circles. I either get the shade too light so do you have any tips for finding the right concealer?

@aahlexbaby Yeah finding colours of drugstore products can be a little tricky! Hopefully there will be testers out and you can test the shades on your hand to see which one blends in the best. Also, if the drugstore has a person working in the cosmetic section, always ask for help, that's why they're there! Other than that, there is no fool-proof way to find the perfect shade! Hope that helps :)

I would suggest going to test out some sample shades...or even at most drugstores you can find someone in the makeup section who could help you out as well :)

Do you think this would stay on oily skin? I have pimples only on my tzone which gets really oily and i don't want it to slide all off during the day.

I am probably not the best person to ask, since my skin is the furthest thing from oily (VERY dry!!) but I have heard great reviews on this from people with all skins types, so it should be fine! :)

how do you avoid caking? i used this my skin tone is slightly darker than yours but it seems to cake. i use my finger, would it work better with a brush? thanks :)

Hmmm, I would make sure you have moisturized the area well first to avoid caking. Also use little bits at a time and build up slowly, that's the best way to avoid caking for me! :)

I use it on mine, so I think it works good! Maybe if you have really severe undereye circles you might need something more high coverage, but this works fine for me :)

It's fairly long lasting...but sometimes I do have to touch it up a bit. It does stay put pretty good when I am putting on the rest of my makeup though! :)

I think it would be just fine - it's not greasy feeling at all and blends in to a nice matte finish :)

For me, no. But everyone's skin is different, so what is fine for me might not be for someone else...but it is fairly light so I don't see it being a problem :)

It does work for undereyes, but to be honest, I prefer my dream matte mousse for my undereyes. I mostly use this one to cover blemishes and redness :)

This is concealer, so that's kind of a waste if you do. Foundation goes all over your face, concealer hinds spots.

Not a silly question, don't worry! You probably could because of the consistency, but I agree, it would be a waste. I think it could work good as an eyelid primer though!! :)
