  • wow!...not a bad swimmer considering he's a mix of 2 densely muscled dogs!..looks like it may be time for a bigger chest harness though. wish you had footage of him out of the water so we can see the stature of that loveable brute!

  • @bilvis48 Actually, the chest harness was the right size, I had it on as tight as it would go and it was still a little too large. He is a very good swimmer and a pain in the butt to get out of the water!! :) He has pretty good stamina- he can romp with the best of them outside and can go and go, but inside the house he acts like a giant area rug, so it is a good balance.

  • @hatebreed454 having been a 'dog' man the better portion of my life, the 'rule of thumb' that has been taught to me is the '2 finger' rule. that being any 'collar' or any 'harness' should fit loosely enough for a man to slide 2 fingers under any strap of a harness..or any collar. but no matter, i can see that this is a healthy and well loved animal!..enjoy him and 'god' bless!

  • @bilvis48 It looks tighter than it was in the video. It actually ended up being a little large and he managed to slip it many times (even as tight as it would go, he would slip it). Either way, he is long off the harness- it was a no-pull and did not help at all. He learned if he walked crooked, he could beat it. He is now on a flat collar and does much better. The harness wearing did not last long at all, as he is too smart!! :) I'll be uploading new Ino videos soon.
