Isn't this basically summing up the film? In my honest opinion, I found it rather boring...maybe this is because I've already seen it, but I think that had i not, I would have found this AMV rather dissapointing. The music is very nice though, as some parts of it suit the film nicely.

Ok I asked a few weeks ago about what song was actually used in the making of this and

lHeavenlyAssassinl was kind enough to tell me it was the Summer overture (Requiem for a Dream) by Mozart. While this helped me I had to do some more research. There are actually TWO songs being played in this movie. The first is as it is listed above, the second trails in right after the first which is actually the remixed version. They are timed very well. So those looking for 1 song need to look for 2.

does anyone know why it was named "the diamond dust rebellion?" I've watched all the episodes of bleach out so far, and seen the movie for this (cool amv, btw), but I don't get where the name comesfrom at all.

I dont know for sure but I guess "Diamond Dust" could be ice or some other cold thing eg. ice crystals. The "Rebellion" could be how Toshiro and the other dude fought over the sword or how the whole of SS was in uproar (yet again!... Geez, they really need better security.).

Diamond dust rebellion comes from Toshiro and His friend having that same ability with their Zanpaktou's They both have Ice Dragons as their Zanpaktou's ability, but with different names, thats why Diamond dust rebellion comes from.

I don't like to judge other peoples videos but i didn't feel this one really. Some parts matched up pretty well with the music and others just seemed to drag. I found myself bored a lot through this video. I'm not trying to be harsh. You said something about reediting, I'd suggest the first half of the video if you did.

editing...as in more efffects? or more frequency in change of clips, or something else?

I focused a lot on timing, letting the slower parts, such as the memories go with the softer, slower parts of the song. and then, of course, the fights and such with the faster louder parts of the song.

I do think that the beginning was kind of slow. If anyone has suggestions, I may try reediting it.

so usually when people drop the whole "try more editing" I see that with amvs that just played out along the episode or something. I'm guessing that's what they meant, but frankly I think the editing was fine. Maybe someone will comment and clarify.
