  • "His students were always afraid to argue with him because of his impeccable logic."

    Funniest part of the video.

Impeccable - Of the highest merit; faultless

Logic - Reasoning based on validity

So, "impeccable logic" = "perfect reasoning." I'd be afraid to argue against that too.

  • This is the Best Story i have ever read Jesus is amazing and can do amazing things. I love you Jesus Christ i PRAY that you give me the confidence next time to STAND UP! and show my faith in you as the almighty lord.

  • your kidding right you guys think God is at fault for all of humans mistakes seriously in the bible is says we reap what we sow that means what we do has consiquences!!! and for all this people who have gone 100 percent against God and killed innocent people there in heaven the most amazing and beautiful place ten times better then the most amazing dream u have ever had i would die for my God any day!!!! I LOVE GOD<3

  • to anyone who feels the need to challenge this- i am not religious. i am not an athiest either. i belive in the power of belief and you're idiots for challenging religion when it helps people everyday even if there isn't a real god the belief gets so many through thier day

anyone who finds comfort or relief in this more power to you keep believing

  • So god can stop chalk from breaking but he couldn't stop Hitler from gassing millions? Your god is fucked up

  • 0:27

    explains it all

    fucking religious idiots

  • So wait god can stop a piece of chalk from breaking but can't put an end to world hunger?

  • Fake. Who still uses chalk?

  • Cool story bro. Notice I said story because this entire incident never occurred. Check the USC website.

  • Atheists listen. In all of science, theres not been one disproven fact that occurred in the Bible. Say what you want about Jesus and God and our faith. This is where we escape atheists and its a one-on-one with God. Please don't get in our way. If the professer did that for 20 years don't you think he'd be prepared for anything that came his way?

    Dear God,

Forgive the atheists and the Christians of our sins. Please give us all guidence for you are our Holy Lord.

    All who agree, Amen.

  • @xRatBratx The fact that the planet is over 4 billion years old (not a few thousand like the bible says), and evolution. Two big ones right there.

    Ramen.

  • @TaintedRave lol can you prove that the world is not younger than what you say? The bible doesn't actually say how old the Earth is. If you look in Genisis it says God created the world in 7 days, Crazy right?

  • @TheWarnings6 (he he talking to myself) But listen some people base how they count the earth from day one through seven but it also says that a day for God is like seven thousand (Or something like that) so the Earth is a little older than what we previously thought. But now we can say through science that the Earth is younger than we thought,

  • @TheWarnings6 by looking at the grand canyon and comparing it to mount saint Helens, the damage that created the canyon was believed to take thousands of years but the same thing happened with mount saint Helen's in weeks. Also the fossil record is now questioned because they have found red blood cells in dinosaur bones and they cannot survive as long as they thought because how old they believed the bones to be.

  • @TheWarnings6 Evolution is plain Theory that the Author after further research discovered is impossible. Science and God go together its the theories that are wrong.

  • @TheWarnings6 If you add up the dates in the bible, it says the world was created what, 4000 or 6000 years ago? (it's one of the two, I just don't remember which). So yes, the bible does say how old the Earth is. Make a little research if you want proof of its real age - you shouldn't believe it because I said so but because you found out for yourself. The documentation is available quite easily.

And yeah, seriously. If God was that great it wouldn't even take that long to create the world.

  • Fuck Jesus.

  • @ConvoyyHD Fuck Jesus? man go fuck yourself! oh and may God send your punkass to hell

  • @brdrjumpr I fucked Mary.

  • @ConvoyyHD ok...

  • Your going to put your faith in something. It doesn't matter whether you believe in a religion or not. And if you criticize others for what they believe in you are basically creating your own religion because you are saying that their way is the wrong way to live and yours is.

  • HAHAHAHAHAH wtf is this shit. ofcourse after 20 tries somethings gonna go wrong. This whole story seems absurd as does religion. It sounds like its straight out of a movie lmao. That professor was right when he called you fools. Harry Potter sounds more realistic than the story of Christ. Enough said.

  • @Shaftmasterful Harry potter? Its a Fictional novel. Have you ever read a text book or history book, were they realistic? The Bible is a history book. "Enough Said" And they keep finding historical evidence in the world in Israel and other places that the Bible had described exactly what the people found. Also birth records of kings and families can still be tracked today.

  • @TheWarnings6 (Also Christianity is not a religion but a relationship, its like were all part of the "Were best friends with Jesus club :) we don't abandon our best friend''. Its the Atheists who are religious, it takes a lot of faith, meditation, hope and pray and studying to be an atheist.)

  • @TheWarnings6 And if you say that Christ doesn't sound realistic, I get to say it doesn't sound realistic that you are held together by small cells shaped like crosses, that water exists in three different ways but is still water(Vapor water, water, ice, same way God is three in one) Its not realistic to me how many people actually spend their time surfing all over youtube for christian related movies and watch them just to diss them....but its all true.

  • @TheWarnings6 If you want to see something real, open your eyes.

  • praise hardcore punk!! you dumb brainwashed fucks

  • i gotta agree this is a funny story alright. but why is this video more than 10 times on the internet by diffrent uploaders under the same name '' this should keep us thinking'' im gonna go with what voodoosix said. if you really believe in something there is no need to make up stories about it and lie.

  • Do you want to know why we think twice about fowarding a Christianly email? Well I know I do because SOME people(like me) do NOT like fowards. No matter what. If there is a God, he'll love me anyways. Oh and, I have non-Christian friends out there, they wouldn't like that email. Dear Christians, there are more than just you out there. Thank you, gay chicka

  • well i have one thing to say to you all i know you all have your own relilgon but still i think that that story says somthing no matter what one thinks or worships in there own way. I think the whole thing is trying to say is dont let people like that proffeser in the video make you stop practesing the thing you beleive in the most, stand up for the thing you most care for with out anyone stoping you!

  • Haha, can you say "propaganda"?

  • I call total BULLSHIT on this whole thing

  • Comment removed

  • AMEN!! PRAISE THE LORD!! I LOVE YOU JESUS MORREEEE THAN MY LIFE!!!:D

  • @JesusIsMyLife6 This makes me sad. Very very sad.

  • AMEN!! I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IF I WAS TO TAKE THAT CLASS!! I UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE WITHOUT CARING ABOUT WHOS LOOKING AT ME OR NOT...WOULD HAVE MOST DEFENITELY WITHOUT A DOUBT HAD STAND UP!!! FOR MY GOD!! I WOUDL'VED BEEN THE FIRST!!:D

  • @jerawolfe

SEE WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW OR REALIZE!! OR EVEN UNDERSTAND IS THAT THERE IS IMMENSE PROOF THAT GOD IS REALL!!! AND NOT ALL SCIENCE IS WRONG! TRUE. FOR EXAMPLE THE CURE FOR CANCER. IT WORKS. BUT NOT EVERYTHING THEY SAY IS TRUEE! I MEAN YOU HAVE TO SEE WAY BEYOND WHAT YOUR EYES SEE. AND GOD IS NOT LIKE buddha OR ANY OTHER RELIGION LIKE THAT. HE IS THE CREATOR OF THIS WORLD. AND SOME PEOPLE JUST DONT REALIZE IT CAUSE THEIR TOO BUSY GOING BY WHAT THE WORLD SAYS! RATHER THAN GOING BY GOD!!!

  • @Jerawolfe i agree with almost everything you have said in your last three comments save one, atheists dont all claim to know god doesnt exist, that is utterly wrong. In fact most atheists will tell you that they dont believe in any gods, not that they know for certain that they dont exhist. on the otherhand christians / religious people are much more likely to claim they "know" the truth

  • I thought lying was against the laws of your God. This story didn't happen. Stop perpetuating bull shit, and verse yourself and others in real miracles.

  • To your question, "Will you pass this on?"

    I must answer no.

First, I don't believe the story happened, but lets say that it did.

Convergence does not imply causality. We don't always understand why things happen the way the should, and here's the cusp of the problem.

Absolute Validation. Christians have trouble honestly and objectively addressing inaccuracies in the bible. Science doesn't claim to be 100% accurate. But if its wrong, that doesn't mean all science and logic is wrong.

  • @Jerawolfe Furthermore.

Atheists are not any less religious about their view of God than any other given faith. One side believes they KNOW God exists, and what he wants from them. The other side is CERTAIN that God doesn't exist.

Both sides are being equally foolish, save from a purely subjective perspective. From an objective perspective, one with no bias, you can see we don't have concrete evidence for or against God yet.

  • @Jerawolfe

So, your both silly. I wouldn't call you a fool, though. I'd say in the lack of any concrete evidence you can share and prove, you have only your own beliefs, you get to choose.

Thus, stop worrying about what other people believe, and show them the real value of those beliefs.

Treat them ethically, with respect, and love if you can. Realize that every pain you feel, has been shared by other humans at one time.

Be good people, and leave the rest up to God or the universe.

    Love ya

  • @Jerawolfe Christians have trouble with the inaccuracies in the Bible? Name them! You say they're inaccurate because they don't make sense to you,

  • @TheWarnings6 Read the Bible first, then read history about the people of that time, how they would record history. If you are confused, seriously ask a good Christian professor, teacher, Pastor or any wise educated person and they will explain it to you.

  • @TheWarnings6 I have a Biology teacher who is a strong Christian and Evolution is a breeze in our Non Christian school, never fights or debates and no one ever questions God. They understand. Watch the Truth project, it explains a lot. First of all, read the Bible and TRY to understand it before you question.

  • lol

  • Our founding fathers in America founded this country on God-fearing values. They prayed at congressional meetings to ask God to guide them. This is why we have succeeded as we have. Only in the past 50 years have politicians and some Americans endorsed the removal of God from schools, buildings, courtrooms, etc. This sort of mentality and behavior WILL lead to the ultimate demise of the United States of America as we know it.

  • didnt*

  • @thatguyontheright1 God did create him he made himself God punshed him. . .

  • I LOVE YOU GOD! thank you so much for...everything!

  • GOD IS ASOME!

  • What about option 3? Accept that it was a freak coincidence and forget about it and/or tell it to your mates as an amusing story

  • Man during the dark ages says "Isn't it funny how they all believe in god then wonder why we are in a state of hell?"

  • [': Amazing story... I never get tired of watching this video. God is so amazing....

  • u kno, well all say we're christains. but r we? i mean yeah sunday we go to church? but what bout @ school and work? i can tlk tho, im a different person at church than i am at school. i feel bad for it too. god is deffenatly in my life. and i love him with all my heart. thanks for putting this upmost ppl wouldnt.

  • for the people who try to shoot this whole story down. i dont see why you would watch a clearly religious video and try to disrespect our religion like this. if you are athiest i fully respect your right to that, but i dont go to your page or whatever and disrespect your beliefs. so try to do the same for mine. let me believe what i want and ill do the same for you. sound fair? good

  • @sethbandera, beliefs can't be disrespected, insulted. Only people can be insulted. An idea can't have hurt feelings. If you are offended by a reasonable criticism/analysis of your religion, then you obviously fear that the criticism is correct. You live in a world with different people. We don't have the same opinions. You need to deal with that. I will not walk on eggshells around you. And true sincere belief is not what you WANT to believe - it's what you believe regardless of what you want

  • @DarkMatter2525 This is a story about faith and love. Religion isn't meant to be analyzed it's meant to give you something to love, something you can trust, something that listens, something that cares. When you analyze and criticize it takes the compassion out of it. I'm not saying that you should follow blindly, but you have to remember that religion isn't about being able to tell your friends the correct answer like it's a meaningless fact. It's about more than anyone could ever realize.

  • @ComradeInChief "I'm not saying that you should follow blindly [...]"

    Yes, yes you are.

  • That was kinda of dumb.

  • if ther wre nams to the people in this story it mite make a lil sense, im sure any kid who provd a teachr this wrong wood love to hav his name known.as 4 the teachr any1 with such IMPECCABLE LOGIC would not have just out of the room when faced with such a rediculous problem. Its extremely logical to believe a newspaper so i have no clue where that came from. Its funny how NOW the christians r telling u to think not like where church ur forced to believe watever bs is spoonfed to u.i ran out of rom

  • And let's remember that even if this IS true, it proves nothing. The kid prayed. A piece of chalk didn't break. The professor's an ass. Ooooooooooh. The, next time you want to pray for something, why don't you pray for God to stop the AIDS or cancer He saw fit to give us? Better yet, actually do something about it. Become a scientist and look for a cure. What a waste of humanity I see here.

  • @DarkMatter2525 thats not how God works bud. yes terrible things happen to people and sometimes it doesnt make any sense. but everything happens for a reason, now you could waste your time trying to find out why these things happen but you will never understand. God is beyond time and beyond what our human minds can possibly grasp.

  • @sethbandera, It amazes me that you don't recognize the basic contradiction in your statement. Read your first sentence and your last sentence. See the contradiction? The world we see today is exactly the world we would expect to see without any God at the helm. It doesn't make sense if you attribute everything to a "plan". Without a plan, however, it makes perfect sense: anything undeserved and tragic can happen. I'd hate to be in your shoes, to think all that is somehow justifiable.

  • @DarkMatter2525 how does a world without a plan make more sense than a world with a plan? so your telling me it is more likely that the million to one odds a billion years or so ago a big bang happened and out of nowhere matter existed. and that another million to one odds that that matter would make stars and planets. and the Trillion to one odds that one little planet just close enough to the sun somehow suddenly had life from nothing but giant rocks floating in space. please continue...

  • @DarkMatter2525 continued from last.. and trillion to one odds that somehow this life that seemed to come from nothing somehow became humans.your telling me all of that is more a more likely explanation to why we are here than the possibility that a God does exist and that he made everything as he wanted because he could. say what you want but that is a valid point. car engines dont just fall together and exist. someone plans it out and assembles the pieces needed and creates the engine.

  • @sethbandera, your incredulity is not an adequate excuse. I studied the bible before I rejected it. You need to do the same for science. The trouble is, you'd need a half dozen PhD's to truly understand. I only needed to study one book to understand your beliefs. Besides, I'm not arguing against A god; I'm arguing against YOUR god. Lastly, no, I don't think you've come to my page to talk to me, but some religious folks woke me up this morning, knocking on my door...think about it.

  • @DarkMatter2525 there are arguments on both sides. i am 100% fine with your beliefs and how you want to live life. Religion is not for you and i respect that. for me Religion is how i connect my life. in fact the base of the word Religion is Lig, which is latin for that which connects. so by defination Religion is that which connects life. this works for me, i understand this isnt how you feel and i respect that. all i ask is you do the same for me.

  • @sethbandera, I respect you, but not the things that you believe. How am I to change those beliefs without conversing with the people who believe in them? I don't want you to be religious, because I believe it misleads you; thus, you may inadvertently perpetuate falsehoods. That's dangerous. I don't want to harm you, nor can I force you to disbelieve. But I'll never shy away from challenging that which I percieve to be wrong, simply for fear of offending someone.

  • @DarkMatter2525 well here is the deal. nothing you can ever say will ever change how i feel about God and my relationship with him. nothing you or anyone will say will ever tear down my faith but instead make it stronger. so if by chance it is your was your personal mission to make me challenge my beliefs or abandon my religion, then you have failed.

  • @sethbandera, sorry to hear you have such a closed mind. I'd never *EVER* imagine that my mind couldn't be changed, because that is the height of ignorance. No wonder you want to stay that way, because after all, ignorance is bliss. The problem is: you're believing what you *want* to believe. That's not belief. Belief is what you think the truth is, regardless of what you want it to be...but that would take honesty & humility. And you just admitted that you have neither.

  • @DarkMatter2525 whoa! so your saying because im a christian i have no honesty or humility?! thats exactly how a war starts. would you have the balls to say that to my face? or to the face of a radical muslim? so the next time you blame religion on the wars of the world, remember your statement. your just as quilty

  • @sethbandera, awfully arrogant of you to assume that the way you think is the way EVERY Christian thinks. You made that leap of bigotry - not me. Man, your comments just keep descending in substance. I was addressing YOU and only YOU. Why wouldn't I say it to your face? And I HAVE said such things to the faces of radical Muslims (I was a paratrooper, fyi). Most of the atheists I know were once Christians who thought their minds couldn't be changed. A little education goes a long way.

  • @sethbandera, by the way, what does war have to do with this discussion? I never said anything about religion in war.

  • @DarkMatter2525 how am I being the bigot? i told you once ill tell you again i love all people and want to live in a peaceful world where war is not needed. for me, i find peace in Christ and i do good deeds in his name. i have muslim friends, i have hindu friends. i even have athiest friends. all i ever wanted was for all of us to understand and respect each other and our beliefs. when people dont respect each other's beliefs people get hurt. fact. if being athiest is your thing go for it. cont

  • @sethbandera, beliefs aren't sacred. They MUST be challenged - ESPECIALLY by people like you! By religious association, moderate Christians and Muslims look very bad when radicals use the old laws of those religions to justify hate and bigotry. Without the radicals, there's no culture clash, and one fewer reason for war. Radicals are created through indoctrination. A fellow Christian like you, speaking to them with reason, to change their beliefs, would be heard long before an atheist like me.

  • @DarkMatter2525 i hope you live a happy peaceful life and have many friends. i just wish you could feel the same about me and my beliefs. im not hurting anyone, your not hurting anyone, so why cant you just let me do what i want and worship how i want and not give me crap about it?

  • @sethbandera, did Jesus also not challenge anyone's beliefs? Did he say, "let them worship however they want?" Because, I don't remember that part of the NT. Did you know that the first Christians were also called atheists? Because they rejected the classical gods. They were probably perceived the same way you percieve me now. Even though I'm an atheist, Jesus is actually a figure I sometimes look to for guidance, and associate with (figuratively, of course).

  • @DarkMatter2525 i dont know how ancient people would see a christian but i can tell you how i perceive you. i dont even know you, yet i love you as i love myself. as i said before, i truely wish you have a long eventful life full of happiness and joy. whatever it is your looking for in life, i hope you find it. Best wishes to you and your family. thank you for your services to this country. i really do appreciate what youve done. once again, have a great life my friend

  • @DarkMatter2525

It doesn't matter whether or not you believe in Christ. Christianity is about love for everyone, as Christ loved everyone, he said be kind, be truthful, be generous, and be compassionate. Compassion isn't something gained by writing against a religious video post. I'm not trying to convert you, i just wonder if you have ever listened to a Christian service, there is nothing about the hatred of those who aren't compassionate, it is about the love for those who are.

  • @ComradeInChief, Unfortunately, most Christians here in the South would vehemently disagree with you. Yes, I've been to plenty of services, AND I've witnessed plenty of Christian hate. Your logic -> Compassion isn't something gained by writing against my comment. Jesus spoke out against the way the Jews were conducting their religion. The Jews didn't like that either, so you're not alone. This is a PUBLIC forum, like where Jesus spoke out against a great many things, including religion.

  • Please don't tell me you people think this story is true. The professor ran out? LOL. The kid took over the lecture and told them of Christ? HA HA. Like they never heard of Christ. Notice how the story leaves out vital info. Who was the professor? The student? What school? When? It's bs. Maybe I should invent a story about how I, an atheist, took over a pastor's sermon and deconverted an entire church.

  • wow man this is POWERFUL!!! I dont know who this man is, what happend in his life, but I do know that if he keeps chasing after God ALL AROUND HIM PEOPLE WILL SEE THE LIGHT, AND THATS TRULY AMAZING!!!

  • @huntmo89, yeah. There's a good reason you don't know who he is. Can you guess what it is?

  • What I like about this, is the young man knew he need to lean on G-d in order to be bold enough to stand up, it touches so much on relationship not the stigma of religon. Amen!! Truly inspirational.

  • Amen..

  • This was a coincidence triggered by the unexpected, it was not God.

The strange thing is that this story does not include the professors name, but that is important.

I received a message from the aliens telling me that they intervene in the lives of people on occasion to heal an amputated limb, cure someone, and protect chalk from breaking. They said that they live in far away galaxies.

I can't prove it, but no one can disprove it. Besides I have faith that it's true, which means that it is LOL

  • A loving God does not pick and choose who he wants to save otherwise he would not be loving.

  • God had nothing to do with the chalk not breaking.

God made it perfectly clear in the Bible for people to not test him.

The professor tested God, however a God who does not want to be tested would not respond to the professors test. It should be clear now that God had nothing to do with any chalk. Also a loving God could not possibly want to prove himself in such a lame way but would rather help dying children in poor countries. it was not God.

  • AMEN!

  • For all of you who didn't like this video I hope you go and burn in hell.God bless you people who like this video!

  • god is all we have we cnt let him go now

  • blah blah blah....

  • The liberal universities are chalk full of left wing liberal atheists professors...I spent 5 years listening are arguing with them. It's really sad what how they are indoctrinating our youth...

  • Thank You Jesus for DYING for me and my sins!! Thank you for choosing me!! Thank You for all that you have given me!! You are so awesome and might Lord!! I will Love you forever and ever!

  • i will be praying for you:)) god bless

  • anyone who has not chosen to follow God needs to follow him. God is the reason we are all on this earth today and that we have food, water, and everything else we need. There are still some ppl who will read this and still not believe in him. But if you stop and think God is the one person that will always love us more then anything in the whole world.

  • listen, i don't believe in god, the thing is people who believe in god, are so overwhelmed by this "faith", are so persuaded that he exists, that you don't listen to people who rationally don't believe in he, or her (why must he be a man?). For me, extremely briefly, since there are questions in life that cannot be answered, we automatically invent a structure, a being that could correspond to all of the answers to these questions (the origin of life, what happens after death, our goal in life)

  • and so here we have a book, that is the story of our God (the christian god, even though in the end if there is one god, than all gods are one, allah, yavé, "god", jah). So we chose to believe in this god because we are too afraid to think that there is no superior force to rely on, that after death, things will simply stop. I chose not to believe, because i consider it lying to myself, inventing excuses to make me feel better. if got is here, simply as a fiction to allow people to feel better

  • Not all gods are one, God is God, all the other so called "gods" are dead and in a tomb, if you opened up the tombs or graves they're in, you'd see bones. But if you went and opened Jesus' tomb, there's nothing in there because he is the one true Jesus son of the one true God and has risen again. Just one of the MANY things in the Bible that's a miraculous event. The Bible has been tried for YEARS to be disproved, but the more they try to prove it's wrong, the more they end up proving it's

  • real. Many many facts in the Bible have been proven true and they can't be proven wrong. There's more evidence that Jesus walked the earth, died on the cross and rose again than any other even in history. If you just really stop to think about it, no other explanation of how we and the whole universe got to be here makes any sense whatsoever. Take the Big Bang Theory for example, they say us, and alllllllllll of the universe came from one tiny spec that exploded, one, I don't care what's up

  • in space, one tiny spec would never create a whole universe that quickly. Two, where did that one spec come from??? Someone had to of made it. That's just one small example from many many that we could argue that the more God doesn't exist, the more you prove that He does exist. I would encourage anybody who says they're a non-believer just to go get a Bible and just read and think about it. Then see what your mind is set on. Read especially Mark in the New Testament. That'll help a lot.

  • than sure, if it helps them live. but when people start crushing other people's lifestyles, and killing - killing another man, how fucked up is that - in the name of a faith, it has failed. so if people believe in god, thats geat, it may make these people generous & altruistic people, even though to me not totally enlightened. but i live life happily with my family, my thoughts, nature, music, friends, and i need no god to answer my questions, i'm live fine with questions unanswered

  • @UnitedNewThinkers Those people who you are talking about are not true followers of Jesus. And about the rest of your life and how you enjoy it- Awesome! :) That is the way God intended it. What I don't think you realize is that all the miracles and things you enjoy in life are the wondrous works of God. He created all of us. He put your children into being, and I'm sure he protects them through crazy things. Also, if you spend much time at all in nature, you would agree that it is quite amazing

  • @bronco8585 i have two points to make. first, the people who kill, or act in any horrible way in the name of god believe very strongly that they ARE indeed following him, and what could you say to disprove them, because all you could use as arguments would be some from the bible, or whatever religious books they are using as reference, and they (if indeed the bible) would probably quote something crazy like leviticus that is very violent, see what i mean?

  • @UnitedNewThinkers The reason 'Christians' or followers of Jesus Christ try to "convert" people is because they are simply sharing the love they feel from God. It is undeniable that people who are truly filled with the blessings of God's spirit feel something better. They have a wholesome feeling deep down in their soul. The reason so many people are depressed, psycho, or simply not fulfilled is because there is something missing. It cannot be reached by our 5 senses. It is the soul. Only God...

  • @bronco8585 yeah ok i see what you're getting at. But you go a step too far for me. Look, as we agree, many things are difficult to understand or impossible to know (as i said, how life happened to be, what happens after death, etc.) but since you can't possibly find a concrete answer, this abstract notion of a god was put in place to answer those exact answers, put some key to them. But for me we invented that solution simply to derive satisfaction and ground from, some feel lost without it;..

  • @bronco8585 what i also wanted to say is that you, have the belief that everything is created by god, simply because you can't explain why it is. i personnally love nature, and consider it to be a miracle, but i find it very unnecessary to try to find some cause for it by saying to myself that some superior being created it, i prefer not to mislead myself, and rather just leave the question unanswered. those are my beliefs, and you have yours and

  • @UnitedNewThinkers So if the earth is a miracle, and there are reasons to believe there being a divine creator, why not then, admit there is one? Because that means you would then submit yourself to a higher being that you cannot simply run away from and disrespect (Such as a child might do to it's parents or a countryman to his country) This would mean that you would probably have to repent of some sort of sin and not live for the desires of your own flesh all your life. This is why most deny..

  • @bronco8585 though i disagree with your beliefs, i respect the fact that that's how you look at the world. now why must so many people absolutely want their belief to be THE belief? to all you christians who believe i will burn in hell because i don't believe in god, then fine let that be my fate, but don't try and convert me because you think my beliefs are wrong, because i believe yours are wrong but whatever, as long as you're not having a negative impact on anyone than sure live your life!

  • @UnitedNewThinkers can I just say something and PLEASE don't take this the wrong way, but I think you've seen the wrong side of Christianity. Yes, under my belief if your not with God you go to Hell, but that's not why you should be a christian. You should be one because God loves you endlessly and completely. I really hope that one day you see that, because without God life is so dead

  • @UnitedNewThinkers You admit that this earth and all it contains is a miracle. I agree. It is a miracle and there are things that can not be explained by 'science'. Things are the way they are. They have always been this way. Just because someone determines by measurements or 'observing' how something on this earth operates A.K.A. 'a discovery by science' doesn't make it matter. So you simply use logic like everyone else but stop before you admit there being a divine being or creator. Logical?

  • Typical religious bullshit story. Are we really supposed to believe that a bold, bully of a teacher would run out of the room because some chalk landed in his trouser cuffs?

But I suppose anyone would believe this story, if they already believe that people must telepathically ask a Jewish zombie to be their master and symbolically eat his flesh and drink his blood because a woman made from a rib was tricked by a talking snake to eat a cursed apple from a magic tree.

  • gay.

  • the first song is It Ends Tonight by All American Rejects. awesome video btw.

  • Brilliant

  • who's this song by? and wats it called. the first song.

  • this video rocks

  • alot of my christian friends have been forwarding this to me. im Muslim and i just wanna say THAT WE DO BELEIVE IN THE SAME GOD. 'Allah' is the Arabic word for 'God' so yea i already knew god existed, thanks anyways

  • "coincidence" is when God chooses to remain anonymous.

  • its not about if its coincidentail its about how you should believe in things even if you are pressured not to. so stop saying this isnt true because well if you have faith and you believe then well nothing can stop YOU!

  • i love how the person gose it to such detail about how the chalk rolls off his finger tips off his shirt cuff, on to the pleat of his pants, down his leg, and off his shoe

  • darknies is the name of the song

  • God bless. GOD is GOOD ALL THE TIME

  • @samoangurl9808 What about when god created the devil?

  • lol This based on a true story. i cant see any philosophy professor trying to prove god does not exist by throwing a piece of chalk to the ground.

  • he thinks that god can stop anything even if it means throwing a piece of chalk on the ground and it breaking, he says that god should be able to stop anything

  • Goosebumps!! xD

  • i'm not a beleaver but i'm not some one who isn't one eather, yeah this might not make sence but it's true

  • go back to your county you jew

  • I stand and KNOW there is a God. I think everyone has a choice and mine is God and knowing him personally because of His son, Jesus Christ. Hopefully non believers will give Him a chance to show them His awesome love.

  • @newlegacyboutique SO ur basically saying "Im right, I know Im right, try to be a christian even tho I havent given you a rationale"

  • doens't matter wat religion you are we all have our own god you can't go around talking about others religion if your truely christian jew ect. you should accept eachother and see the difference as a good that god can be seen in all ways but showing that you would do that means you can't be faithful change for god and accept

  • I'm sorry I have got to say this, I'm not meaning to offend anyone or alter their belief. I just would like to post this so hopefully some will be able to see how other people see christianity. That this video states it's funny how people can mock god and the world go to hell. Well alot of people see it as isn't it funny how completely innocent children are being beaten daily? Or that it's funny how countless jews died in the halocaust, while most never even doubted him.

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU JEW

  • @mikerooney123 I'm not a jew actually. And how can you call yourself a christian using language like that? Especially just because I'm a little bit different then you.

  • easly thats how easy it is

  • is this in southern cal or south carolina

  • i like the story. it just seems like it gets detracted from by the other half that seems to be a spanking and guilt trip to share the post. seems like there could be a more empowering way to share the 2nd half? still the first part is really good! 2nd part makes me not want to share, when it is intended to make me share?

  • @muyguuay the first part is completely untrue. There is a philosophy prof. who has been there for 32 years and never heard a thing about this. he is a christian so he wouldnt have a bias to hide it. srry I cant be bothered to look up the name but if you look it up in snopes youll see

  • u dont what what usc there are 3 usc sumter, usc columbia and usc southern cali

  • this in fact didnt even originate at USC and first was placed in the 1920s at Allegheny College.

It was later modified to be at USC. of course even if this did happen whoever touts this as an example of god intervening is an idiot. in that they fail to account that he has done this 20 times with the chalk breaking. there is a small probability that the chalk will not break.

  • now even though there hasn't been an official study on how often chalk breaks when falling from about shoulder height we can safely conclude that if this did happen it was most likely coincidence.

  • Sauce plz.

  • QUESTION: how did everyone know that he would shout "you fool" if no one had stood up for 20 years?

  • no one knew he was going to shout "you fool"...people knew he would drop the chalk and say anyone who believes in God is a fool.

  • No no no someone is telling the story because someone was there....

  • No matter your faith...stand up. There is no religion more fanatical than Atheism. Who can say What is out there? and What it is that They answer to? The only one that adheres to bigotry is the one who says "its not possible"

  • Comment removed

  • Learn to use grammar, then try that again.

  • I've reread it and actually there's nothing wrong with my grammar, but I can rephrase it if you're having difficulties. I was saying that it doesn't matter what you have faith in. Stand up for it. Atheists say there is no God, and they fanatically stick to that...so it's just as much of a 'religion' as any other, only they deny the possibilities that could exist. You can't reason with a closed mind. Be open to new ideas. Was that clear enough for you or would you prefer me to use shorter words?

  • You're right. It IS impossible to reason with a closed mind. Atheism is not a religion, it's a lack of a religion. Atheists would surely be believers (though, probably still not followers...) if they were given proper evidence. If we asked any less, and we abandoned logic, then we would be guilty of hypocrisy for accusing followers of abandoning their own logic. No story will ever change our minds; for example, in this one, even if it's true, there are possible explanations.

  • True. There could be ;) That's my point..btw...I'm neither Christian nor Atheist. I simply prefer to acknowledge the possible. And I also apologize for my parting shot. I was snotty...but you must admit I had provocation lol. I also still disagree with your view on Atheism...their adherence to the fact that it COULDN'T possibly exist is in fact a religion all their own. An obsession as dear to them as a God is to others. But I'll agree to disagree if its polite ;)

  • I can agree to that as well. I just take great offense, and annoyance, to religious people who take it upon themselves to attack atheists who are doing what they feel is the most logical course. Thanks for being one of the people who can agree to disagree (also, sorry for provoking you, I just picked the most recent post and attacked it. Like I said, total faith just bugs me to no end.)

  • Blind faith without any reason IS foolish, but faith in general can help someone through hard times. Some people can put that faith in themselves...some people have to look further. This has been fun actually :) Theological arguments rile some people, but I tend to love them lol.

  • LOVE the video!! It gives some real insight to this world.

  • I took many philosophy classes (which I love), and that isnt really a good professor if he tries to persaude you into thinking there is no God. I'd look at my teacher like hes an idiot if he said that... and sure enough i would stand up against him. I wouldnt mind him bashing christianity as a whole, but God or Jesus... now thats a bad thing. I'm not christian, yet I love Jesus, and I'd still be offended if someone tried to ram down my throat their beliefs and telling me to believe it...

  • i stood up, i believe no matter what- u don't add me, ill give u proof

  • amen....im crying i stood up

  • True, homeschool, there is no real proof that this is real. But I think this video is deep and very eye opening despite the lack of proof, but that's just my opinion. However, I do get where you're coming from. It seem easier to me and preferable when there is proof to back something up. But I guess that's where faith steps in. This is a very powerful video. It really tugged on my heart strings
