I found a location right next to the fuel dump you destroy in the prologue. I've had some Nazi's blow their whistles like, 15 times so far, but for some reason it's never gone into alert mode. It's a good way to get contraband, but like Geoff said, it gets very tedious.

that's a good way, but its better if you're on an AA-gun, and with the alarm on, because, when you get alarm level 5, Planes are strafing at your position, but if you manage to destroy 'em, you get 100 contraband :3

There is another AA gun down near the chemical factory that is NOT on the edge of a building--i.e. they cannot hit you from the street. Great for racking up points, er contraband.

i have a possible Indiana jones easteregg in "The Saboteur". In the mission when you shall get a Artifakt in a semitary you can stumble upon two guards talking about an SS Agent who traveld to nepal to get a sort of "Staff" tha imediatly got my mind of the first indiana jones movie. I think the only talk during the progress of that mission.

And if you do trip the alarm while shooting down zepplins just keep on shooting them down till you got all the contraband you want. Save the game, load the game, and you will still have all the contraband you earned. :)

Go to a place on the map called "the latin quarter" its near the center area of paris, u should see a large restricted building in the latin quarter, on top of that buuilding are like, 10 AA guns.... but they are *not* free-to-play targets, so you dont have to blow them up, so you can finish the game by destroying all the free-to-play targets, and still shoot down zepplins for free. :)

Zeppelins spawn like that wherever you shoot them from. For contraband farming I used a platform high on top of a building where the guys in the streets couldn't hit me. And also planes you shoot down are 100 contraband :)

thanks for the great tip, i would like to add to this to make it faster for you all also. I cleared all but the gun and still got an alarm off of it, once the alarm got to level 4 the zepplins were 5 every rotation as opposed to one or 2 before. just thought i would share that with you all.

@sevantofra guess the tip would be to let the alarm go off and not clear everything, you can shoot teh trucks that come below you and keep going. also because your turning so much if you do get hit its only one or 2 per rotation cuz gun gets in the way

@hemlei saboteur is someone who sabotages things which he can do in the game and its a great game the controls are hard to get use to and the animation in different things doesnt look that great (biggest one I saw was the aiming of the gun and killing of the nazis) but it can get worse animation at least play it its really good assassins creed mixed with grand theft auto

I actually recommend you get a level 5 alarm, causing planes to try and get you, then going to an area where there is an AA gun and shooting those, and the zeppelins.

this is too slow...near the stripper place there is an AA gun...take that and get a level 5 alarm...nazi's just come to the bottom of the place there and you can almost literally not die whatsoever...just shoot the zepelins and all the towers near you with the AA gun and when the tanks start coming shoot them too and they keep respawning and driving over..also *SPOILER ALERT OF WHAT HAPPENS AT LEVEL 5 ALARM* when the fighter planes come to shoot you...each kill is 100 contraband ..easy

I found another place i could do that, on a rooftop in the city, i earned 3000 contraband before i got bored.

I had a little resistance, nothing i couldn't handle.

It's probably not the only one it happens with, best bet - try it on every anti air gun you see.

(The twisting/groaning metal noise as the zeppelin's break up is a nice/sickening one, depending how you feel about it :) .)

Also to get a good rotation of 4 zepplins every 360 degrees you turn; when you shoot at one of the zepplins, do not move your crosshair away from the zepplin until it explodes. just a tip ;)

They occassionally do that after loading a save. Go do something else (like blow up ground targets) for a while until you start seeing Zepplins in the sky. I don't know exactly what causes them to start reappearing eventually but they do. If there is at least one in the sky, there will always be one two flying around even if one is blown up.

You don't need contraband surpluses in this game. If you're going for the platinum trophy, then all the ambient freeplay will pay for the 75,000 contraband you need to spend. This video is worthless.

if u want easy zepplins, go to the aa gun by the meat factory, nazi will come if the alarm goes to high, but they cant kill u, and a knew zepplins apear on ur left side everytime u shoot one down, its so easy

i just got the terror scped sniper rifle and it is so go nice it has alot of recoil but i highly recomend completing the perk challenge you dont have to pay for it its free when youve unlocked it
