  • @tubester92 great

  • This is the problem i have man i can make my thingy pop so loud it scares me sometimes and sometimes hurts ..

  • @ExtremeEn3rgy see a doc

  • Thank you so much for putting this video online. I have gone for a year with doctors and chiropractors telling me there is nothing in that area of my body that could be causing me ongoing pain. This is exactly my symptoms and it is sad that it takes a patient looking online to figure it out. But it is very kind of you to take your time to put this on here to help us overcome our stupid physicians.

  • @heavenknox thanks

  • excellent video.

I am growing increasingly convinced that my snapping scapula is the cause of my Eustation Tube Dysfunction and other anxiety-related symptoms (including hot flushes, tension around the throat, pain in sinus above my right eye and shooting pains through my torso.) Whilst the Eustation Tube Dysfunction is constant, the other symptoms seem to only appear when my shoulder is particularly painful. I will also sometimes experience pain alongside the popping in my right eye...

  • Are you familiar with this occuring? I would love to be able to produce supporting evidence when I see my doctor...

  • @MadDogQ thanks

  • @nabilebraheim you're welcome. i think you missed my question...

  • @MadDogQ SEE A SHOULDER SURGEON

it is a rare condition ,that can cause a lot of problems

  • it also hurts in my shoulder and arm when i turn my neck sometimes... is this also a symptom of SSS? this nerve pain is destroying my life and i have spent so much money on so many diff doctors and cant even get a diagnosis... feels like nerve impingment in shoulder blade causing pain in my armpit and tricep along with tingling in hand sometimes... i appreciate your replies

  • @o6nateo6 need orthopedic and neurological exam

  • @nabilebraheim Can your arm brake from having this condition? Sometimes it feels like I'm putting my shoulder in a vulnerable position, like it's about to snap or something?

  • @thekingofoakland no

this condition does not break the arm

  • @nabilebraheim But does it make it more likely and easier to brake?

  • @thekingofoakland no

see how the break happen in the video on my channel now

  • @nabilebraheim Oh, I see. So, what would you say to a 20 year old who's shoulders, feet, jaw, knee caps, and shoulder blade crack and pop? Is that associated with SSS???

  • @thekingofoakland I will tell him see a doc if it is painful

  • @nabilebraheim What if there's little to no pain, should I be worried that it will become painful at one point?

  • 2 months ago I started having this popping and grinding in my shoulder after working out one day doing hack squats and getting an almost crick neck feeling and pain in shoulder... now unbearable nerve pain in my arm has been added to this... ortho surgeon thought it was a herniated disc in my neck but after xray and mri he doesnt know what to tell me... all doctors are blowing off the shoulder grinding as nothing, does this sound like SSS?

  • @o6nateo6 snapping scapula, biceps ,slap tear can cause popping

  • thank you for making this video, nabilebraheim, it's really helpful. i'm curious to know the answer to one of kaleidoscopekay's questions --- could scoliosis of the spine cause snapping scapula?

  • @ak642007 yes

  • The video said that Snapping Scapula can be a secondary symptom from a nerve disorder, leading to atrophy and weakness in the muscles. I am active, kayaking, also excercising in water and doing my work at home. Since my other Scapula is starting to snap, I just thought something else was going on.

  • @kaleidoscopekay occasionally it can occur from a nerve disorder

if you have no winging ,bad wasting of muscles and no loss of function then you do not have a nerve injury

if you have snapping then you have bursitis

  • When one scapula has been snapping for awhile, and the other side starts to snap, even after being in therapy for a long period of time. What does this mean? There is no osteochondrots. Could nerve damage be going on?

  • @kaleidoscopekay snapping is not a nerve damage

    it is a bursitis

  • What type of therapy is best for snapping scapula? Aquatic or regular.

  • @trailblazer145 both

  • How long is the total recovery of a scapula bursectomy? This will be my last question on this subject. Thank you for answering my questions. GREAT VIDEO!

  • @kaleidoscopekay about one to 2 weeks

  • Could scoliosis of the spine cause snapping scapula? If it does, would a bursectomy still work fo stop the snapping and pain?

  • @kaleidoscopekay

    bursectomy will work

  • Great video and cute ortho humor too!

  • @TCMAUMEE thanks

  • When surgery is needed, would part of the scapula also need to be removed, along with the bursectomy? It seems like the scapula would scrap more against the chest wall, with the bursa gone, since it helps with the smooth movement of the scapula.

  • @kaleidoscopekay

bursectomy is the most commen procedure

excise the pump or a lump if needed

  • good introduction, and the joke is funny!

how many times of injection can the patiet get?

  • @chinafox1 several

no more than 4 a year

  • If the snapping keeps on happening for over 1 year, and the patient has had therapy and injections, does the patient just live with this syndrome, since it is not going away?

  • @kaleidoscopekay better therapy and consider surgery

  • If surgery is rare, what would be the deciding factor to do a bursectomy or debridement?

  • @trailblazer145 injection and therapy first

then if there ius a lump remove it ,if bursa do bursectomy ,ct and MRI may help in showing the problem

    open or arthroscopic

  • Very interesting and educational video! Thanks!

  • @Nickliu2010 THANKS

  • How common is this syndrome? Great humor!

  • @tsbialecki not common
