  • Excellent playing!!! 5-star!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

  • Wonderful playing, wonderful fiddle.

  • whats that first jig ?

  • @AndyZZK97 The first Jig is called Calliope house and it's really easy to learn.

  • People tell me! Does she begin to use some special bowing technique at 1.04 when there are some fast things going on??? ( I have just begun to practise violin and I'm just wondering what's going on in there :P )

  • @HeliEmilie No that just the beginning of St annes reel. I just started learning to play myself and am loving it, hope you are too.

  • I'm 12 years old , my names is Shaina and i played the fiddle for five years and im pretty good, and everybody always told me...'to be a real fiddle plyer, you have to learn to play St. anns reel'' and i tohught i could never play it and i didn't really like it that much anyways, but when i first watched this video i went and grabbed my fiddle and i picked the song up SO fast....along with Calliope House, i literally learned it in 7 minutes. Thanks so much! you're an amazing player!

  • @shaina8catherine Its funny - you write on your channel that you are15 yrs old, but here you write 12 yrs old ... youtube don't let you to have account in 12 years?

  • @MusicienDalibor lol. must not. I wasn't aware that my account said i was 15 years old...my older sister made the account for me a couple years ago, so i wasn't sure how she set it up. ahaha. but, yes, im 12 not 15 :P

  • I got a fiddle for fathers day last year, Im getting better thanks to watching inspirational players like you Anna; Thank you for showing your talent and giving people like me something to aspire to. :)

  • Very Nice!!!.....To tensed huh....sheesh....i pray for the day i can play this tense...lol...i just love this world of critics...Keep up the good work Anna...

  • OMG! You rock! I love the style you play St Anne's in, it's the same as my late fiddle instructor, God rest his soul. I want to take you out to dinner! LOL

  • Très bien joué!! Wonderful.....nice play and you are very nice too!!

  • i love her and her smile at the end is perfect

  • wow

  • very nice!, I recognise the jig at first, but don't know what it's called. Help please?

  • An easy way of telling if traditional music is played well, is listen to it and look at your feet. If they seem to be tapping on their own, it is being played well. If you appear to be dancing on your own, the music is playing masterfully well.

The second was the case in my situation. Bravo!

  • Excellent work on that! You are a very attractive lady too.

  • there is a nice little late syncopation in the first few notes of her St annes reel. Compare it to Truman Prices where he goes into the first notes early and loud.

  • nice very nice --,

  • Brilliant!

  • great stuff

  • Nice!

  • Very well done! Thanks for posting

  • shes good but her wrist is flat if i may point out. not hating, verrrrrry good indeed!!!!!!

  • @countryismypassion the art of fiddling is in the bowing, not in posture.

  • I'll be learning this tune with you..thanks,, nicely done

  • i love the bass note coming through :3

  • Excuse me, what's the name of the first reel? It sounds awesome!!! (both of them, of course)

  • @darksensesx7 First one isn´t reel but double jig :-)

  • @MusicienDalibor You're right! Thank you! But... You know its name? haha

  • @darksensesx7 Name? ... hmm It´s bigger problem - I don´t know. :-(

  • @darksensesx7 I found it - it´s jig "Calliope House". I searched youtube with this name, but this video is the best one. :-)

  • @MusicienDalibor Very true. This is the best one. Thank you again! I think I'll begin to practice this tune. Have a good day ;)

  • fabulous fiddle

  • BRAVO....

  • AWSOME ! thanks for sharing.

  • What fine fiddling!

  • Great... what's the name of this jig ? I've heard that once when watching "the lord of the dance", played by mairead Nesbitt and Cora Smyth, I wish I could find the sheet !

  • This is probably one of the best videos for 'St. Anne's Reel' I've seen, The speed and rhythm are just so lively! This is a video that you can watch over and over and it gets better every time.

  • Great video!! I'm pretty sure the first tune is called "Calliope House" :o)

  • I like it :)

  • Great sounding box and nice playing. Especially your bow control. Nice straight eights. But, I wish you'd bring your wrist up on your left hand.
