  • In reality, a lioness wouldn't get away with playing with a lion, wanting to reproduce, like Elsa did - still one of the best movies to date and it will last many more ages...

  • It's unfair that some of those who try to protect and care for animals end up dying at the hands of poachers. There was Dian Fossey, the woman who studied gorillas, aiming to protect them from poachers, until they found her dead (her skull had been split open with a machete, the same kind used by poachers). And however George and Joy Adamson died (though I doubt it could ever compare with Dian Fossey's cold-blooded murder). There's no justice for them. It would drive a person mad...

  • its nala n simba lol

  • @daleastar she also mistreated her african servants she may have even shot one

  • wow, I know what that male lion is thinking, "Are Those two People looking at me?".

  • It's amazing how many expressions on both the lions face. together with their body language can almost understand what thier saying to each other.

  • POACHERS!!! George was helping this woman who was being attacked by Poachers..and was MURDERED!!! AND so was Joy...

  • @daleastar dumbass

  • Elsa is so CUTE! Even as a full-grown lioness!

  • 6:15 - RAAAOOuuurr- BONK!!!! Hahahahah!

  • this is a true story on this lion..........there is a place in Kenya Naivasha called Elsamere named after Elsa

  • "there's a name for girls like her" I'm guessing he means "c**k tease"

  • Info from Wikipedia: On 3 Jan 1980, in Shaba National Reserve in Kenya, Joy Adamson's body was discovered. Police investigation found that Adamson was murdered with a blade, Not killed by a lion. Paul Nakware Ekai, a discharged Turkana labourer for the Adamsons, was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. Ekai later said he shot her (also?)

George Adamson was murdered 9 years later, in 1989, in Kora National Park, while saving the life of an (eco-) tourist being attacked by poachers.

  • @spennithorne1 ty 4 setting the story right--i still love this book/movie right--u know bout christian the lion???

  • 9:14 - 9:17

Not a good idea, lions get nasty when there's food involved.

  • Adam did not die (in 1989, he was past 80 by then) because of lion maul. he died at the hands of his own mankind, poachers who killed him when he went out to protect an eco-tourist. Not sure how Joy died though. And the couple did see Elsa a few more times with her cubs after she walked into the wild. Elsa eventually died of a blood disease and her grave is in Meru Park, also same place where Christian the Lion is believed to have moved up to years later.

  • Elsa was such a wonderful lioness!

    She was the leading actress!

  • you can't tame a lion or any big cat, they will always remain wild animals that can turn and kill at any moment.

  • Edmont - you are right - it was however, a very minor incident. The relationship between Elsa and Joy was unique. It so unfortunate that after a divorce, yet remaining friends that both Joy & her husband died as a result of lion malls - this makes your point reasonably valid although the deaths were certainly not from the lions in this series. Gotta say tho' Africa is the apex of the earth!

  • Joy and George did not die by mauling lions. They were both murdered by humans. Joy in 1980 and George in 1989.

  • @isnukwin really? is there a link to more info on it? This story is amazing me and i want to know about the humans who took care of elsa

  • @isnukwin who actually murdered them???bastard!!Maybe theyre just jealouse cuz they dont get to bond whith lions...WE people today cant see that God made a special relationship between animals and humans...were not opening our eyes..

  • @natforgood

do your research a bit better, they were killed by fellow humans, murdered, years apart. funny that how people think that lions are extremely vicious and could never be tame. humans can also snap at anytime. we kill more of our kind than any wild animal does.

  • i saw a program on animal planet once about this movie. the narrator said the lioness was'nt 100% tamed. i forgot what he said happened. it was between something setting the lioness off and her getting overly rambunctious. either way she wound up minorly injuring the actress that played joy adamson.

  • yes so true animals shuld be let free

  • @j3ssikuh Unless we care for them and love them, as if they were a real person.

  • @j3ssikuh JOHN BARRY OSCAR WINNING SCORE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • @j3ssikuh i know but they need love

  • Comment removed

  • Seems Elsa wasn't sophisticated enough for that old lion

  • Or he wasn't her type and/or vice versa
