  • You do very clever videos on how to do things. Nice Job

  • The makers of the camcaddie must be going around promoting their stupid equipment because they are commenting on almost all these steadicam videos that their product is so great. POS IMO.

This monopod/stabilizer is really good. Good job.

  • Damn moving text fucks with my eyes

  • Perfect ideas.

  • Impressive design but I think i would still prefer to use my Cam Caddie Scorpion. For $38 it was well worth it, I've been able to capture some amazingly smooth shots with it's help.

  • 11 out of 10 for that! good stuff.

  • Hey Ken Burns effect. Love it. :)

  • very cool

  • The handle is a 1/2" PVC pipe and PVC cap painted black. The foam grip on the pipe is a black foam bicycle handle grip.

  • Hi, I can't seem to find out what handle you use? one minute you install the ball and the other there is the handle, no explanation where to find it, or what it is? or did I miss something somewhere?

  • Part 2: Cut stem off ball, Sand off rough edges,Screw ball to assembly, pack plastic behind ball inside 1/2" PVC pipe cap with large hole drilled in cap, Screw 1/2" PVC pipe handle to cap, Secure monopod foot with additional screw, Attach weight bar (strapping plate with 1/4" x 20 x 3" screws with washers and 1/4-20 threaded knob or wing nut, complete handle assembly can slide up or down and lock to adjust balance, additional weight bar can be added with 1/4"-20 bolt and wing nut. Part 1 Above.

  • For others...the complete scrolling text:

Find a bicycle seat post clamp, Drill a 1/4" hole and countersink (inside), insert 1/4" stove bolt (1/2x20) about 3/4"long, remove foam grip and slide assembly over monopod, Replace foam grip and replace camera base plate, Install plastic sleeve spacer (I made the spacer from a red wire nut, cut the top off and drill out top)Use a ball from a sink repair kit, Use a tap and die thread cutting set to tap ball to fit a 1/4 20 thread,

  • I used about 40 washers, it really depends on the weight of your camera...

  • how many washers did you use on each side as the counter weight?

  • One of the best "how to" vids I've seen. Only criticism is the type that scrolls across the screen goes by soooo fast. But otherwise well done with great detail.

  • thanks from russia!!!

  • Hello, the video is very good and i think very helpfull. i am going to buy a monopod and will do the same. thanks
