  • @RobertRuhi

Thank you, glad you liked it!

  • Hi there,

The best way would be to crop, then set the background colour to white, then go to Image > Canvas Size and increase by however many pixels looks good.

    Hope that helps!

  • what program do u use?

  • I was using Photoshop CS2 for this tutorial.

    Hope that helps

    Matt

  • well good tutorial... i actually didn't know photoshop could do so much

  • thanks!

  • thanks! good stuff. I'm just learning.

My crop tool doesn't do what your crop tool does, though. It won't allow me to grab a side and resize - it wants to rotate the entire selected area (I just made a video of that to send to a friend who is trying to help me learn long distance).

    any ideas??

  • Sorry for the slow reply.

Make sure the cursor is hoovering on the crop line (it should turn into an up-down arrow). If you are rotating the crop boundaries then you are possibly dragging too far away from the crop selection. Let me know if you're still having probs?

  • sorry for MY late reply - computer was in the shop!

I figured it out! There were presets in the option toolbar. Once I cleared those, everything worked just as I wanted.

    Thanks for the reply :)
