I found your video while trying to find any reports of a ufo that i saw over Louisville 06/25/11. The lights were too yellow for a plane. I kept watching it and then made our a black square or triangular shape.
I saw the same thing that day. It was a sunday and I was in the old louisville area, just north of the campus. My camera did not do it justice so I didnt post. I saw the damn things and I am glad you did too.

@steveorama1978 What you saw was a satelite, maybe even the space station. There are more than 25 communacation satelites that are highly reflective also.
With the drought this summer there were a lot of clear nights. We would sit out, drink beer and watch for them.

condensation trails behind the plane. They are called CON-trails. CHEM-trails, are the LONG white lines that turn into wispy clouds. CHEM-trails are bad for us, and are largely unknown as to what their purpose is. But you gave it your best try kid!

It was a ball of light that moved erraticly then went straight. After awhile it stood completely still. Then it slowly moved to the right and then it was just gone.

The appearance of contrails is dependent on many variables that can vary within only a few inches of air layer. This looks like 2 planes @ high altitude; one in a layer of air that is conducive to the formation of contrails, and one that is not.
Try running out on a roof looking though a camera lens while zooming to about 30x. Part of the shaking is trying to find the plane after losing it while zoomed. Next one I'll be sure and setup a tripod.
It started on the opposite horizon. My son watched the plane and orb travel together for a couple of minutes before he told me and I got the camera. The first orb dropped away from the plane and then one popped up behind it.

We watch Venus all the time I,m away from city lights so we sit outside alot at night and watch the stars and planets. I thought maybe it was ice falling from the plane. But it didnt break up.

Give yourselves a little project.First,don't clean up your original video.Log the time,date,your lat.and long.,direction aircraft was heading,estimated altitude,and any witnesses.Submit a formal request to your regional FAA ARTCC for the airliner's flight records(carrier,tail number,route,etc.)then contact them with a request for info. from those pilots.Also contact your municipal airport for any unusual sightings.And your local law enforcement.Other people may have reported also.Best of luck..
Just a plane? My bozozo it is! So typical and EASIER for some peeps to simply brush things like this off as just a plane, or a balloon or whatever! Anyway, SLMDJ, I'm just glad we are NOT the only ones seeing these things out there.. these are being seen in the UK, Canada, all over the US now - it's not just in Mexico anymore! Just keep your eyes to the skies.. you might be surprised. :)
Niether could we. I saw the first one and the plane for probably 15 sec before my camera booted up. It was 2 to 3 times as bright as the plane. I kept losing it in the viewfinder cause zoom was so high. Then the second one just popped up flew along with plane 5 sec and disappeared.
VERY cool sphere... hard to tell if what you taped and what I saw here and tried to video tape (in Oregon) on May 30 2007 and on Aug 17 2007 are of the same thing.
Do you have a way of slowing the video down.. or maybe take snap shot images from the video and compile them into a video? Magic Pic 2 Ani works great to do that with (can convert your images or video to another format) .. and it's free
We went through it frame by frame on wmm its so shaky some of the orbs are double exposed. I was using a sony handycam with zoom about X2000. The plane was probably 5 or 6 miles from me. I'm gonna check out your site now thanks for commenting.
SLMDJ, you did a fantastic job and under those circumstances too! I can totally relate to the shaky part - when on high zoom with or without a tripod it can be so difficult. If you Google "iTinySoft Magic Pic2Ani 1.10" - Go to the first link and on the page scroll to bottom to download the free small program. It works with images or video and converts to any FPS you wish to create AVI, SWF or Gif. I've used it for some of my videos and images.
