Great Stuff!!!!! Liked the really close formation stuff. Personally I still prefer the Red Arrows. Partly cause im English and partly because they do alot of similar stuff in 40year old trainers that dont have fly-by-wire and because the red-white-blue trails are awesome. Just saw them today at Goodwood motorshow and i never get tired of em.

@saultman Sorry that's the UK. The pilots fly more hours, more intensive, longer training and participate in more exercises than their US counterparts. And of course you are aware the Red Arrows are the world's greatest display team.

during the air shows a lot of poeple think they're going like mach 2. They're not. First off. The F-18's top speed is mach 1.8 [Aprox] Second it's agenst federal laws to go over mach 1 at a air show or event. The F-18's are probably going .98 at the fastes. With is still about 730 Mpg. Also when people say the sonic boom or when theres the circle of chemicals around the tail. That isn't mach one or breaking sound barrior. It's .98,2 of the speed of sound. Same for the raptor aprox .99

the Blue Angels are amazing. the fact that they can perform those stunts is outstanding. i went to a Blue Angels air show today at Meecham (i think) and saw them it was too windy for the Blue Angels to fly tho. i am so disappointed. i got some good pics tho and i waved at the pilots and they waved back XP i love them and i have heard that they come to my school sometimes i wish i could meet them

@lSASlLtGenRich That is debatable, since the blue angels fly without G-suits, they fly lower and closer than any other jet team, and they fly, albiet old, combat craft (with all the weight that comes with them), not single-engine trainers.

They may not be the flashiest, but they are the most skilled.
