@DrMadolite KDZen18 is incorrect. After you complete the game, it starts again. This is called New Game Plus or NG+. Enemies get tougher, do more damage, but you keep your gear and such. The combat sure becomes harder, but since you now know how to kill bosses, get through areas, etc, its really not that much harder. But the game, from the get go, is really already pretty dang hard. :)

normal- 8k souls every 30 seconds - 12k souls every 30 seconds with mimic head and silver serpernt ring

NG+ ( not sure how many souls per run with no equipment) with ring and mimic head 20k souls every 30 seconds

How to get so many flask? im quite new to the game, but wont farming souls be faster if you enter the forest where you open the lock door with the crest of artorias. When you gather the enemy swarming towards you, go back to the corner of the door, there is a small edge. So all the enemys will just fall off the cliff you can gain a quick 2000+ souls. There a bonfire on the outside so you can repeat the same way over again.

By cutting off the dragon covenants tail, 2 hand 540 damage with only 34 strength doesn't sound bad but have to give up my shield... :(

@DeathDarkness5000 You get more flaks if you kindle a bonfire. To be able to get 20 you must have the rite of kindling which you get when you kill Pinwheel ( The boss in the Catacombs )

@RoboDarkKnight009 the Mini boss he pretty easy if ur a lvl 50 or above with like 29 or 36 strength and some other states that i cant remember.. just keep it high and ull kill him easily so far the times that i have died i recorded it with my phone and it keeps telling me that i died 134 times in the first playthrough and 58 times in the second.. then the third which i forgot to set up i counted about 26.. lol the first time u play a game always put up a shield and run like hell if ur gonna die.

@DeathDarkness5000 originally in the first playthrough its 2000 for two of them then one 3000 and the barbarian dude 1000... its like about 7-8k of souls every 5 to 10 mins..

But if u kill Pharis i believe u get 4-5k of souls and also u get ring from him if u get to kill him... which is helpful if ur hp is low. Just remember there are originally, 7 people in the first time u open the door, but if u kill all then sit at bonfire u only get 4 of them back.. trust me..

Its a lot easier if once you get in the dungeon type place if you farm souls and humanity from the octopus crystal enemies because there is a close bonfire and if you have warp you can warp back to fire link shrine once you have 99 humanity.

so what after, walk all the way up through the tomb of giants and catacombs? the homeward bone will take you to last bonfire rested at, which means you will have to take the scenic tour one way or the other... and for 100k souls there are way more efficient ways..

dark anor londo - just farm the two guys outside of the princes chamber. i believe they give 15k on first playthough, and they respawn right outside the bonfire. going down or up the entire catacombs plus tomb of giants is one of the hardest trips in the entire game.. if you find it easy, then you character probably won't really benefit that much from 100k souls.

@FLYINHAWAIIAN37 depends on if you want to kill the giants still, because they drop titanite chunks it may be unwise to do this until you find another outlet such as the black knights in the kiln of the first flame which are a 100 percent drop rate unlike the giants where it is once in about a hundred kills.

@EVS2585 Just use lordvessel. If you warp to Firelink Shrine it won't count as a "rest at bonfire", so you can use Homeward Bone or the Homeward Miracle to get back to the ground in Tomb of Giants

OR you can just stay there and kill babies like it's your job. Leave a summon sign if you get bored, someone will summon you. It's easy, a broken crystal halbred will pop an entire array of them in one swing. Plus humanity becomes candy. lol

i havent timed it, but after you've cleared dukes archives, have PLENTY of homeward bones, rest at the bonfire you appeared at when Seath first kills you. Kill skeletons in the back, out the door, right along the ledge, drop down to serpents (wait for one to go down stairs), then jump down and kill the blue octopuses. with my maxed Great Dragon King Axe, and the mimic head helmet, a jumping r2 attack netted me 1135 soul per kill. And they drop humanity at a decent rate. bout 20k per run.

@thearchy lol i was doing this earlier and its about a 5- 10 min run depending on your speed and stats i just stood in front of the ladder used pyromancy on the snakes then i lured those crystal heads out killed them ,then pyromancy the blue octopus's and kill the lizards then homeward miracle rinse repeat

IMO the best soul farming is @ Painted World of Ariamis, kill the pile of Phalanx, they give like 500 souls per kill, 6500 souls per trip. Only takes less than a minute to kill 'em.

The lightning spear is a really good weapon, I've got +4, but not sure about upgrading to +5 as might need the slab for another weapon

Or you could just beat ornstein and smough in ng+ and camp it, geting summoned to kill them over and over, I get I think 75k souls and 1 humanity every 5-10 minutes doing this. Takes my sorceress like 12 seconds to down them both. I get so many friend requests and people love it, especially the pure melee guys. That fight isn't fun as pure melee. :(

@JHgamer101 it depends on your pvp skills but if u go to either painted world or the first kiln and summon 1 person.. u can use that finger summon item to force people to invade you... ull get like 5 invasions every 10mins and usually those ppl are super rich thus u can get alot of souls fast by sniping invaders

Great place to farm humanity. However, it's faster to farm souls in Anor Londo. This method requires killing Gwynevere, but you can make 12,000 (36,000 NG+) souls in ~60 seconds. After killing Gwynevere and resting at the bonfire outside her room, head to the room where the giant knights were before Smough and Ornstein. There will be 2 NPC enemies. Kill both, homeward bone back to the bonfire and repeat.

This is a huge waste ot time to just sell them for 99 000 souls. Better option, get humanity to 99 and then get PVP. This is much faster in increasing your souls.

Also, while farming babies, put down a summons sign to help fight Boss. Breaks up the boredom of fighting babies and refills your estus flasks. Plus get lots of souls.

I find the fastest way is to kill the big boobes gywn princess then there are 2 humans who drop 5000 souls each, at level 64 i could earn 12000 in just under 1 minute every time. Use iron flesh then run in and 2 handed them to death >homeward bone and repeat

I found that using the Ring of the Evil Eye makes farming that area even easier, you don't have to worry about running out of estus flasks and not being able to heal.

Good farming spot, been at this the last few nights, a good thing to combine with this soulgrind is to put down your summon sign outside Nito's lair since its in the same room, fast 15000 souls for every person you help and sunlight medal if you are a member of the warriors of sunlight and need those for the covenant.

also imo, best shield is dark knights, best no upgrade armor is smough, as you said, but upgraded, its giants armor. and best weapon that scales best with stats i found was greatsword of artorias, which goes to +5

@zephiree By using the Rite of Kindling, it's an item you acquire after defeating Pinwheel, deep inside the Catacombs (can be found by taking graveyard route near Firelink Shrine bonfire), the Rite of Kindling allows you to kindle from 10 flasks to having 20 flasks, though it costs you an extra 1 humanity for every time for kindle still.

@ninjabastard666 this is what i do and it works fantastic. as you come down the steps and kill the 2 npcs, take the stairs to the left and head back towards the bonfire. on the way there are 4 silver nights that always respawn. kill them all and get to the bonfire, then warp back to the chamber of the princess and repeat. you get about 18k of souls each run. best method ive seen so far

Actually more faster / safer soul farming method is to run to the undead female merchant you mentioned

Buy 99 Prismn stones

Then Run to the undead burg near the Bonfire where is that merchant who sells arrows and chain mail stuff

Buy from him:

99 Fire bombs

99 Throwing Knifes

999 Wooden arrows

And use homeward bone to Firelink

Feed those to the snake

Profit ;)
