All I know USA is not justice country anymore... U have law that justify people to jail without trial.... all quantanamo prisoners are without justice!
Very interesting commentary- it certainly got me thinking. Thanks! I may not agree with all your points, but I'm really glad you made them :D. Cheers :D
Marathon, lightweight, commando, with a ump, and a spas? Was this game re-released or something, or is it just to compinsate for your lack of skill? You're using the MOST over powered weapon and perk combination in the game...
@zTheoryHD You gotta be shitting me. What made you think I give a shit? Of all the people that watched the video, you're the first moron to criticize the gameplay. Considering you can't even spell "compensate", I can see why.
well this is some pretty complicated but interesting stuff. I think people should consider that we are trying to find a way to live together and that's why there are so many arguments like this because we are living together cooperatively but with different opinions.
With individual justice, one becomes a vigilanty and needs nothing but the feeling of being wronged and the feeling of needing retribution in order to feel justified in their pursuit of "Justice". To allow people to just take the law into their own hands will make senseless assaults by angry men/women justifiable by feeling alone
That's just not the logical way to approach criminality or what one may perceive as a criminal act against them. We might as well be in the wild west in that case.
i disagree on the basis that the casey anthony trial is more of an outlier. most cases do not end with the guilty going free. only some do. the exceptions.
innocent until proven guilty is better than guilty until proven innocent. the only problem with both systems is the inability to observe. in both systems, the evidence is imperfect.
@MordieSG I can certainly follow him, and there's a difference between knowing what you're going to be talking about, and rambling, which is stupid, because that would mean popular Youtubers, etc, would literally press record and think random shit and name their videos off what they end up talking about, which they don't do, they are given a topic, and talk about it.
The Justice System is Flawed but it's flawed to both ways Innocence and Guilt. if you were to unbalance it people that were Innocent could easily be found Guilty. which is why the system is balanced the Founding fathers knew that one thing will always flaw the justice system Emotion which is the largest swayer in Court. so thats why you must have a system that will favor for innocence.
whats worse though sending a innocent person to death or releasing a guilty person
Well, justice is more of an opinion anything set in stone. I think that this legal system is the best we can get with our current means, because it prevents more damage from being dealt. I feel it's better to avoid ruining someone else's life than to deliver punishment that might not be deserved. Also, putting her in jail costs alot of taxpayer money, which might not seem important from a moral standpoint, but is something everyone must consider.
Yah justice is to me, basically is more ore less fairness...I agree with u that we r bound by the laws of where we live no matter where they gottem...itz(to me) giving every variable(suspects, evidence, witnesses, etc.) an equall stance on a dispute...this does work our many times but not with Casey Anthony:( good vid...give me ur thoughts on this:)
Well you can say that the system worked, but the system is not infallible. Your concept of individual justice goes back to eye for an eye and that is quite a flawed decision making system. What we need is a technocracy to shut down illogical and obviously misleading arguments.
@MPdinsdale1978 Lol technocracy? And who will design the machines? And the point is if I want an eye for my eye, that's my decision to make, not yours.
@MPdinsdale1978 Ok I was mistaken. I do remember reading something about technocrats rejoicing when 'Watson' won the jeopardy. But the type of govt. is a completely different debate. I believe I answered your question on individual justice.
@H1TMANactual Cheers, but the problem with individual justice is that you don't have to prove your claim to anyone. So I am the judge, jury, and executioner then? Guy cuts me off at the intersection, I feel that I can only be compensated by him giving me a new tv.
@MPdinsdale1978 I already answered that. Whether you want to be judge, jury and executioner will depend on how much you want to be part of society. As you enter into a social contract, you are bound by it's laws.
In today's society, I feel that we have lost the definition of what reasonable doubt is. The job of the prosecution is to convince the jury that the prosecuted is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, not just doubt. Of course one can reserve doubt for the prosecution, as one should, but should use reason when making a judgement. It is television that has ruined the jurors. Programs like CSI has raised the bar to an impossible height, and that is not it works, not everything is black and white.
Lol say "justice is in the courts" to all the mothers and girlfriends that cry rape and abuse and have children's fathers be permanently taken away from them, and innocent men get sent to jail with basically no evidence at all. It makes the Casey Anthony case look like just one of hundreds of normal cases.
Good topic and commentry, keep up the good stuff, but loose the opening I don't like being referd to as a motherfucker and I don't think alot of people do .
I was watching Fox News (because I'm a masochist), and one of those TV lawyers asked an interesting question He said "Would you rather let a guilty person go free or accidentally convict an innocent?", referring to Casey Anthony obviously. The answer seemed obvious to me, but he was implying he would rather the latter.......I was like wow wtf your a lawyer
No justice was not served. Honestly, cases like this happen all the time and have never been noticed by the media. I was just happy that this garbage sensationalism about the death of a little girl is over. It was nauseating seeing the footage of people running to get seats in the courtroom like children running to go see an action movie or people waiting in line for the super bowl. I think the real crime was the media sensationalizing this case. It was disgusting.
@mcspikesky Well obviously there has to be a story on the news or the news wouldnt be a news. But they could have shown morals and integrity and not spammed the news with this worthless story. We have a myriad of other problems they could have easily covered, but this story ate them all up because people wanted to hear about stupid shit.
Hitman was a nickname I picked up in boot camp when I hit 50/50. But the youtube name was taken so I added actual. In military call sign lingo "actual" serves the same purpose "the"
