I like U2 from the 80s' andearly 90s' They have toomuch "pop" now... But I do like he song Vertigo.

I think U2 went through a bit of a metamorphosis in the 90s. 80s they were a straight up rock/alternative rock band, but zooropa and pop seemed very experimental, and not to me very U2(not that there weren't a few good songs on there). I'd say today they do throw a bit of pop into their music to attract a wider audience, but they still largely remain true to their 80s feel. Most of my fave u2 songs are split between the 84-91 and 03--- eras.
