  • It looks like this and other cartoons at the time was affected by the aggressiveness of WWII. I mean every cartoon from the era is like a war in itself, in which Donald fights against different "enemies", often animals.

  • cute end

  • There's so many Donald Duck episodes where he's tormented by an animal and he tries to kill it. Donald is mean...but soo fun.

  • This video is most popular with people 35+... Kids nowadays need to see these!

  • What the hell did the bird even need string for?

  • What memories this brings back! Thanks for uploading this! Especially if the sequence at 4:01 had ALWAYS made me laugh!

  • The MTV Tunning of the 40's

  • Am I the only one thought it was ironic that while Donald was painting the car with the red paint, the music sounded awfully similar to Alice in Wonderland's "Painting the Roses Red" song?

  • Gross, that's paint remover, not water

  • 5:12 a totally normal reaction ever happen in a Disney cartoon.

  • WOW the cars used to start by button like now!! 4:53

  • @cressida500 What goes around comes around. If you look hard enough you'll see that nothing "new" or "revolutionary" is ever really as new or revolutionary as it seems. Pretty much everything in the auto industry today has been there in some shape or form many times in the last 100 years. :)

  • lol, he takes the shotgun out and bammm

  • The bird catches strings that looks like worms and donald likes color red and pink.

  • Never saw this one before, either!! Thanks for uploading these donaldduckforever, they're great!! :) One of my favorite parts in this cartoon was when the car was covered with the feathers from the seats, and it looked like a huge white dog. :)

  • Never saw this one before, either!! Thanks for uploading these donaldduckforever, they're great!! :)

  • What would Donald want with so many coloured paints, when he just wants to paint his car red? I had no idea what the bird needed a string for till much later. Took to the end to find out three things: The bird is not a malicious sort like the honey bee, the bird is female and she has babies. It's good Donald is not a barbarian and will make an exception even when he is riled and his favourite hat is ruined.

  • wait aminute, ducks can ply, why not just fly to catch him

  • 3:18 The Car is a Dog. Thats sooo cute.

  • Donald is a lovely person...ehm, Duck

  • 2:05 it stopped being disney

  • I have this one and many others in my Donald Duck, 60 years of fun VHS.

  • Why was Donald painting his car red?.

  • the bird is cute

  • 1:53 Paint on his hands

1:57 No paint on his hands

2:00 The paint is back on his hands

  • Bad bird.

  • 4:14 a hippie car..LOL

  • Paint remover...they are poisonous.

  • Not in the cartoon world!!!

  • yeah, yeah I know, you cannot kill cartoons except that stuff from ''Who framed Roger Rabbit''

  • @donaldduckforever When I was a kid before I could read in english I thought the paint remover were just water.

  • @donaldduckforever yes it is, cartoons are made mostly out of paint, so how could a cartoon bucket hold it? NO IDEA

  • yeah usually it's turpentine
