This song is such a staple in the Delta Blues world that it's almost taboo to do. You know why when you hear how many bad versions there are out there.

You, however, nailed it from the gate. I could tell from the first few notes that you were playin' "Death Letter". Your vocal phrasing was very much like ol' Son House, and your slide playing was a treat to listen to; clever in arrangement, always controlled and clean. Very delta-like.
