  • im sweating it suddenly hot in here

  • I will be refering to this vid A LOT! I thought my small folder blade would be enough, time to hit up kershaw

  • Very good vid. You do that well. A little different than I but none the less done well. Thanks for sharing.

  • Outstanding thanks. Hopefully you have a skinning/quartering vid somewere too!

  • Killer video bro,

Can you hunt boar with a rifle in Hawaii? I was told that you could'nt, however I've seen several videos on youtube of people shooting hogs in the islands?

Thanks for a great, informative video..Mahalo!

  • @ENZORifleWorks Yeah, you can shoot them with rifle. Whoever said otherwise was misinformed. But there are registration laws. You have to register your firearms with the police within so many hours of arival... I think 72 hours. The registration takes about an hour. Most people just bring a bow to avoid the hastle. Dog and knife is most popular with locals.

  • Really, really well done. I like that you took care to show how to cut the penis area and around the anus first. This is one of the best videos on youtube for showing how to field dress. Your video works for deer as well. Nice.

  • Well done mate . Gday from Australia .Pig capital of the universe .

  • do u eat the ball?

  • Can you use the pig organs like liver and heart? Why throw away everything?

  • @utubehayter Not to answer for the video maker here, but wild pigs are notorious for harboring all kinds of parasites in the liver and other organs. Just one reason. Also, wild pigs smell much more potent. It makes dealing with the guts a little less desirable...lol

  • What kind of knife are you using? Looks like a butchering knife but I was curious on the brand. Great video, very well done.

  • Great video. I'd take you hog hunting with me anytime. Would have been nice if you made a "part 2" demonstrating skinning and meat processing. Again, very well done video and congratulations.

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • nice video, well instructed and not another hacker like we see in most others, hope you enjoyed your meat!

  • this is a good video, the first most thought on problems is on what to do if something went wrong while dressing the boar. I would guess that's another video though.

  • Nice job bud, thanks for the tips

  • Great vid, so glad you weren't a hack or a douche. How do you feel about tying the anus off? I guess id be afraid of feces coming out when you were looping it out around the pelvis.

  • Good instructions and view.

  • Thats a nice dick ughhhhh

  • Great Video thank you!!

  • Tie off the anus so shit isn't flying everywhere. Plus, use gloves so you don't die in a couple of months from brucelliosis (sp?).

  • Nice video. One quick question; what kind of dogs do you use?

  • @bergersdog Not exactly sure what these dogs were. They tend to bay so I think they are some sort of cur mix. Everybody's pack is a little different. Some guys prefer pitbullXhound or pitbullXbird dog to get a grabbing/holding dogs with a good nose and agility. Others prefer bay dogs and cross curs or healers maybe with hound. You can use "grabber dogs" or "bay dogs" and if it is thick brush, grabbers work best.

  • @bergersdog Curs are best for the application, hounds, terriers, and others work as well.

  • little advice cut the throat to cut the wind pipe and i keeps you from even risking gettn cut

  • This is actually the first time i have ever learned how to dress a pig after a kill. Great instructions, thanks.

  • You guy's do it right by disposing of your gut piles properly.

  • Thank you that was a very well done video , I learned a lot. I would like to see you do a turkey and deer video . If you would be so kind.

  • I have never been hunting or tried to dress an animal, but I am interested in learning about both (just in case it's ever needed). Great video! You made it seem doable even by those of us who are newbies. Thanks!

  • Nice video! I've field dressed and processed tons of animals but always looking for trick I may have missed. This is must-see for new hunters...and well done. Thanks!

  • Thank you for putting on subtitles, it was kinda hard to hear you next to the waterfall. Great video.

  • Clearly the best technique and video on this that I have seen

  • Thanks for the great instructional video... The best I've seen, with surgical precision. Good job.

  • Very nicely done. Best one I've seen yet.

  • Very good video, you know how to butcher a pig right!! Thanks, I learned from it!!

  • nice job!!!

  • Good vid. Very educational. Thanks.

Where are you doing your Surgery residency?

  • the dog was like wtf looking up the tree! lol

  • man i miss living in Hawaii me and my friends go out wit some dogs and get at least 2 pigs but we stab the pig in the heart not shoot it!

  • great vid man! can't wait to go hunting soon..what area of the boar did you aim for? sorry im a noob

  • that was really well done , very informative ... cheers would like to see the cuts of meat done ....

  • im going to find you...and gut you....

  • @darrylhaynes WTF is wrong with you?

  • thats wrong what you are doing.....

  • @darrylhaynes He hunting and eating his own food the way we've done for a hundred thousand years? You're a fucking moron.

  • fuck you...you inbread son of a bitch.....country ass hole.....back ass pussy.......

  • @darrylhaynes What is your problem with guns? You're obsessed you piece of shit. I hope you die by one.

  • you first...you little hoe.

  • @wtfdudenotcool101 So is that all you do? Make annoying little faggot anti gun comments on youtube? Get a fucking life, moron. You have no reason to be mad at this kid for hunting, cleaning and respecting his own food.

  • @darrylhaynes What's "inbread"? Is that some type of dough you can choose at Subway? The word you are attempting to spell is "inbred". Learn to spell your insults before you attempt to use them, moron.

  • @stevef1988 as long as you got my point...thats all that matters......ass...

  • @aslanruhu No, we don't test but if it looks to be in poor health, don't eat it. They have some diseases and parasites here but they are generally not transferable to people. We always cook them well just in case. Tastier than a farm pig, and usually a bit firmer meat. A young boar or sow is usually great eating. Older the pig the tougher the meat. A layer of fat improves the flavour when present. Some boars have a musky odor. Use lots of herbs and spices.

  • @nbarca whats calibur rifle do you prefer for wild pig hunting

  • @nuke295 a marlin lever action 30-30 is a great hog gun, and so is a 5.56 wich is a standard rem .223 round

  • @nuke295 Any 30 caliber is pretty ideal for heart/lung shots. You get a good blood trail, even when the shot is less than perfect. ...I guess if you were shooting for the head, it wouldn't matter much. ...whichever gun you shoot best with.

  • @nbarca cause i have a marlin xt-22 and a remington 700 which do you think is better

  • @nbarca cause i have a marlin xt-22 and a remington 700 which do you think is better for hog hunting cause the 22 is good for coyote fox rabbit and raccoon but the remington is better for deer

  • Good video. I'm going after some hogs this weekend and I haven't gutted an animal in a few years. I'm with you in giving thanks to God.

  • Good vid. Going hog hungting this weekend and haven't gutted an animal in a few years. Thanks for giving credit where it was due at the end.

  • Great video. THis kid knows his stuff and shows exactly how its done, Good work boys.

  • Thank ya much nbarca for posting the vid. Your vid did the best job of illustrating how to manage the reproductive area (not wanting to bust a urine sack on my first job).

And to fraz121121, the man's got honor to acknowledge the creator of the heavens & earth, who has given all things to mankind for our enjoyment. You don't need to criticize, just appreciate the fact that nbarca took the time to post the vid. Don't be bitter because he's allowed the truth to reveal itself. ;)

  • why did you squeeze the penis? lol

  • Wear gloves dumbass :) jk great vid.

  • @miketastic97 :D Gloves are for sissies!

  • @nbarca no hes right... accidental cuts can lead to infections and so forth!! be safe !!

  • @miketastic97 either way you gotta wash your hands really well. not like he was licking his hands clean.

  • hog penis. that is why I keep finding trees full of guts.

and here I was thinking that the movie PREDATOR was real.

  • hog penis.

  • that was pretty good!

  • Thank you for the video. It was very informative. Make more please. I want to see how to tie it up and the removal of the skin.

  • Pig looking down from above: Ahhhhh my dick and balls!!!

  • This has to be the best field dressing video on the whole damn internet! I've looked everywhere and have not found a better one.

  • Really you just have to add the religious stuff into it at the end.

  • @fraz121121 Yep.

  • how the hell did you stab a boar with it goreing you...

  • now smell your hands.... lol

  • Sweet vid , bro !

  • Good Le son.

  • Well done! I assume that after the initial field dressing, that a standard skinning is in order. I'll want mine whole for a pit bbq, so I won't be splitting it. Great tutorial! Thanks. ~Wolf

  • Great video. Really liked the detailed removal of the anus. Cut it loose, and give a bit of a tug to make sure it is free. That might seem simple, but thats such a good tip. Then when you go to yank it all out you have less surprises. Great job.

  • Nice job! I would love to see how you field dress a Sow, Great Video! and thank you for taking the time to film a "how to" on field dressing. Thanks again!

  • I am so jelly. Hog hunting in Hawaii I'd be in heaven.

  • Absolutely loved the video!!! Please tell me, exactly how do you do the reproductive organ removal on a female? I am supposed to go hog hunting sometime very soon, and want to be prepared in case I get a sow.

  • @favorchildoftheking just about the same except you start at the back end cutting around the sex organs and you can leave the skin between the legs. It's much easier and cleaner.

  • Thanks for posting the video.

  • Nice video. What type of knives are you using? Looks like good sharp filet blades.... What type of knives do you use for actual killing of the pig?

  • @808singlefin nothin special. just an NSF, about 6 inch blade. ...can't remember where I got it but it sharpened up nice. The same knife killed the pig.

  • @nbarca Mahalo for the knife info! Keep posting these solid informational hunting videos!

  • @nbarca How do you cut its ass and balls without getting sick?

  • @DaggersDen ...I donno. Grit?

  • @nbarca I could not handle that man, I would be thinking about my own ass and balls.

  • awesome vid man, thanks , i know that must have smelled great! LOL

  • awesome vid man, thanks , i know that must have smelled great! LOL

  • this proccess is much easier and quicker when your subjuct is vertically tied to a tree

  • Sweet video, and I appreciate you saying thank you to the boar who gave it's life. You are a great hunter!

  • Very well done.

  • Very educational, thanks for posting this video.

  • Very good technique, nice job indeed

  • How old were you when you gutted this pig, you should contact The Discovery channel so they can fit a camera inside the next kill and see your skills and technic, I think it would have a great hit there.

  • One of the best field dressing videos on the net. Great job!

  • I've been looking for a how to video like this, actually looking for javelina but i think this works perfectly just the same. Excellent job!!!! Very informative and even gives some etiquette tips, thanks again.

  • This is the best field dress instructional I've seen on youtube. You make it look too easy! Keep hunting brah, nevah mind da tree huggahs! You and Kav1ka make awesome videos.

  • Great work bud. You made it look so easy. I think anyone that eats meat should know how to do this. There is nothing like eating meat from an animal that spent their whole life in the wild. Everytime I eat deer meat from my freezer I remember the hunt and it brings a smile to my face. All the best.

  • @abarms11b shit if anything else, it gives you an appreciation for your food. and a good bit of survival skills. honestly it is amazingly fast how quick it goes from animal to food.

  • Massive! Nice work champ

  • Great video. You can see you have done this a few times before

  • Great video! Recently got my bow and hoping to get a hog soon this video is really informative thanks!

  • good video man, I should have my first deer and pig in the next couple of months. Getting a bow next week, any other tips on what to do with them once you have killed the animals?

  • Very well done. Thanks for posting this. BTW, this is the exact technique you would use for a deer (well, probably any mammal).

  • we just did our first pig and struggled with the gutting process, i wish i had seen this video first would have made it alot easier! thanks so much, you have so really good skills and thanks for all the good hints

  • It;s guys like this that give hunters a GOOD name.Well done. You make it look so easy.

  • Thanks for the video!!!

  • Great instructional video - best one I've seen: Good narrative and good camera work. Where was this filmed? What part of the country?

    Thanx!

  • great video! I plan on doing some hog hunting when I get the time. Ive heard that a person should wear gloves when dealing with hog meat.. whats the deal? Ive heard it is reccomended to wear latex gloves when handleing hog meat. Or is that total BS. I know hogs are filthy animals but why do we need the gloves?

  • @FloridaSnookHunter I read on another website that some hogs can carry a lot of diseases and parasites. I'm going to bring some gloves along when I hunt in January. I doubt there is too much to worry about but I reckon it's better to be safe than sorry. Good huntin out there!

  • worst place to film it since there is a WATERFALL in the backround

  • i have never tried boar or hunted them how do they taste?

  • @ouellette65 good

  • Great video! But you wasted the liver, heart and lungs the really good parts lol. Overall nice kill man!

  • I think I cried a little on the inside watching the penis get cut off, but better that hog than me!

  • Great video young man. I have looked everywhere and nowhere have I found such in depth yet simple explanation. And very much thanks for giving our wonderful Creator God the glory for his creation of this Mr. Pig.

God Bless and keep up the good work.

  • Thanks!

  • Great video - Thanks...

  • @BoeingPilotable where do you think the beef on your dinner table comes from? Or the chicken in your chicken nuggets? Human's kill animals and eat them, this is no differnt.

  • Dude very good video. Nice job.

  • @nbarca Right on dude. We appreciate your posting this. :)

  • @BoeingPilotable how the hell u think u get pork in ur plate??

  • @BoeingPilotable fuckin liberals, all you know is being whingy pricks

  • @BoeingPilotable Another stupid comment from an ignorant meat eater.

  • @maddad482 back at you, what if that was u??

  • @BoeingPilotable we only kill what we need.........unless its feral pigs because they dangerous animals that overpopulate and destroy the ecosystem in wichever place they go, they overconsume and shut out other animals when it comes to food sources, its good for the earth to kill hogs (its good for your belly too lol)

  • @BoeingPilotable Think about it next time you eat any meat you fucking retard.

  • @BoeingPilotable Fuckin ignorant scum. All you know is how to look stupid in public.

  • @BoeingPilotable

    shutup you hippie eco progressive.

man has been killing animals as a source of food for thousands of years. part of that includes gutting them. Why don't you actually try stepping out from your Los Angeles liberal world and into the read world for a change.

  • @BoeingPilotable Enjoy your celery and tofu.

  • @BoeingPilotable fuck off u moron..hunting part of life..stop complaining there is plenty of game to hunt.there are laws in place.and game is harvested responsibly

  • @BoeingPilotable hey city boy how do you think people lived before the frozen section at costo? i can understand hating on that hunt just to kill something but these guys are responsible hunters and hunt for the meat.

  • @BoeingPilotable yip killing tapping and yet we are the ones that blazed the trail for countrys. hmm yeah we are stupid

  • Nicely done I have to say I went to a party where they were going to kill a pig. After they killed the pig no one knew how to dress it lol!! So because i watched this video i was able to gut my first pig perfectly because of this lol. Good times. Thank you.
