I wouldn't buy a netbook used, having taken it apart I'm not to confident unless its a spotless seller on that idea.

Its the best selling Netbook on the market. Outselling the Asus Eee PC laptops. Which were the worlds first netbooks...so yes, yes they are :]

No, although you could use a USB DVD-Drive.

I have heard of people rinning photoshop on the windows netbooks. Linux looks nice I think I could use Linux Limpus. I have always liked an os to be somple and bhasic windows vista and mac os are just too fancey in the long run they take up too much disk space and use up too much CPU resources I don't think linux is like they. I want one of these. How has your expierence been woth the computer?

In retrospect I would have picked a HDD based Acer to avoid all the optimizing I had to do, otherwise its an awesome machine that gets the job done. Which is typing up notes in class and letting me surf the net around campus and where ever else i carry it. Its so light and small :]

you can get more for that same price. in walmart u can get 1gb ram and 120 hdd wit windows xp home

I choose to get one with a SDD because of lower power use and the fact that they can't ever physically break like a HDD can.
