I know that David couldn't be the doctor forever, but when he regenerates you feel like some part of you, die. RTD wrote good episodes, in my opinion so far moffats only good episodes have been Weeping angels, The god complex, a good man goes to war, but the rest are boring and have been done. watch the old episodes and you will see.

David Tennant was the closest we could get to having someone that good. Tennant himself said in an interview that he would gladly play the doc "forever" since it was a life-long dream. Apparently he didn't think we would take him at his word, which apparently hinged on whether his boyfriend could continue directing.

Most Doctors would stay 3/4 years - Troughton gave that advice to some of his successors otherwise people become too reliant on the actor. This is evidently true because of Baker and Tennant, sure they were great actors but Tennant got too melodramatic in the last year (albeit Waters of Mars) and he mono-acted too much.
Man, I just saw the Doctor Who movie that was released in the 90's... and I'm like, okay, so the Master laughs... but has anyone noticed how much younger the Doctor has appeared over time from when he first appeared in the 60's?
Don't get me wrong David Tennant was brilliant but i personally think each Doctor has a shelf life before it gets a bit stale then you need to refresh the series.Another 3 or 4 years of David wud get boring .Tennant said he wanted to leave before people got tired so he understands how it works.Steven Moffat is a brilliant writer so i am quite confident that this next series will be very good. The next series is going to be different but thats how its suppose to be, it just takes getting used to.

Actually the premise was created by a man named Sydney Newman. Verity Lambert (the woman you're thinking of) was the very first Producer. She died in 2007 and Voyage of the Damned was dedicated to her memory, just as The Waters of Mars was dedicated to Barry Letts, another Producer. An interesting fact, Joan Redfern's descendent seen in The End of Time Part Two is called Verity Newman, as a tribute to both Sydney Newman and Verity Lambert.

Remember Nurse Redfern from Series 3? She comes back as "Verity Newman" and she is selling a book called "A Journal of Impossible Things". My theory is that book is the journal that the Doctor wrote when he was human. But how did she end up in the present time?
Well I think this is similar to Gwen and Gwen. Gwen started a family and it endedwith Gwen in the torchwood team. They probabaly used the same actor to play a decendant of a previous character. And Nurse Redfern probably passed the book down to her child and grandchildren.
In another trailer you hear inthe background donna say DOCTOR! this means she will remember, and burn up. Everyone said donna would die, and she never did. she only lost her memory. She might actually die this time....

I'm not sure why the change of mind, but can only assume it has something to do with Russell Davies' exit. The guy they picked to be the new Doc is horrible...I stopped watching when Colin Baker became the Doctor and I'll stop watching until this new dork leaves too.

Gallifrey's returning? That sucks if it's true. Which it probably isn't. I like the lone Time Lord theme for the Doctor. This whole "I'm gonna die" thing is confusing me. We all know he isn't going to actually die, yet they make it sound like he is going to. I'm wondering if that really is the Master, or an impostor. He should look different. Or maybe not, since this will be resurection instead of regeneration. Hmm, I don't want Tennant to leave, but I can't wait to see how he "dies." Allon Zi!

What I think will happen (is just an idea), is that the master will kill Donna, and because of the DoctorDonna thing they will be connected so the other doctor in the parallel world will die (and something might happen to the real doctor too), and then Rose will come back because of this. That's all I've got so far!
And I think the master looks way better with blond hair!!!

Remember Nurse Redfern from Series 3? She comes back as "Verity Newman" and she is selling a book called "A Journal of Impossible Things". My theory is that book is the journal that the Doctor wrote when he was human. But how did she end up in the present time?

Well I think this is similar to Gwen and Gwen. Gwen started a family and it endedwith Gwen in the torchwood team. They probabaly used the same actor to play a decendant of a previous character. And Nurse Redfern probably passed the book down to her child and grandchildren.
