The OP should be told $80k isn't SHIT in High Stakes poker... Now if it were $800K well... That'd be a "huge" pot for high stakes. $80k is like spare change to REAL high stakes poker players. Fuck, go watch the SHOW High Stakes Poker, I've seen pots that gets OVER a million bucks.I also see pots that go close to $500k REGULARLY. So... Just because some of the people on Full Tilt think they are bad ass players & are REAL high stakes players because they play for a few grand on there... Ballsagna
not to mention that the million being bet is acquired through the chip amount, not the actual amount of money on the line. these people are betting a literal 80,000. if you watch wpt on television, the 2 million there betting isn't the actual amount of money there betting. hence when someone loses, they don't lose all their money.. they cash out.
okay first he is talking about a cash game where they do bet real money but there aren't a lot of pots over a million dollars. And some of those players on there got their money from playing online where you can play for stakes just as big or bigger than they play on HSP.

Urindanger's a legitimate online player... look him up. He pushed all in because there were a ton of possible outs - two pair, turned a set, or even a straight on the flop. If LucLongley (aka Brian Hastings) only had top pair, the all in move would definitely have gotten him to think twice about calling. Luckily, he DID have top set, but so goes high stakes poker: "No guts, no glory." Gotta be willing to lose 'em if you wanna get 'em. When Urindanger raised pre-flop, LL didn't go all in.

If there wasnt an ACE on the board the guy with Aces should have folded. The guy who went all in was the usual muppet who ALL INS with nothing but draws when another guy is betting HARD, they learn the hard way.

horrible play by "Urindanger." shoulda folded on the turn... no way that other dude is laying down a set of aces... gotta learn when to hold em' and fold em'
gut shot and a flush draw...10 outs with one card to go...4 to one dog. That was pretty bad but maybe he put the other guy on a resteal after the preflop raise. We really can't tell why he made the play unless we've seen these guys play a bunch.
he had a flush draw as long as well, the call on the flop was totally fine, as he had a total of 12 outs. And a lot of implied outs, Because the guy with AA isn`t folding.
This guy needs to read up on pot odds before playing these stakes

It's funny how people always think that someone is trying to bluff them.
