  • he he he . . . its not only the gals who like to accessorise ! :)

  • I got this the other day.

An excellent chopper, i must say it is very stable

  • I just bought this body for my cx2, looks better than the actual sikorsky body for the cx2 so =)

  • Which LED circuit u used?

  • Guess I answered this question somewhere in one of my other replies. I bought this pre-configured set on German ebay one year ago, can't remember the name though ...

  • Hmmmm!!!! then it's ok. It might be due to taking vid. So the ray of lights overlaped.

  • Exactly ;-)

  • Buddy,

U should have put the NAV LED tiny because it looks as if they are head light. Bigger in size compare to this small heli.I got this heli I'm gonna install tiny LED.

  • The LEDs are pretty tiny, but they are also very bright (in fact much too bright), that's why they actually appear bigger than they are ...

  • lol its low on battery bt the battey light looks kl in tht config

  • I don't quite get what you're trying to say here, but I can tell you the heli was not low on battery ... (?!)

  • Where can I buy a set o lights like that ??

  • I bought this set from a German ebay seller approx. one year ago, so I'm not sure if they are still available.

  • hi, just wondering how many minutes of flight time do you usually get? is the battery and also the parts compatible with those esky co-ax helis, such as the lama? thanks!

  • Flight time is usually between 8 and 9minutes. Batteries are basically all the same (2S 7,4V 800mAh), but need to be a bit thinner for the JP Hawk chassis. Some might say JP parts are compatible with Esky, however I would only recommend to use JP/E-Flite/Graupner parts (these are pretty much the same).

  • Awesome man, its very stable, was it like this out of the box or u did some extra work on it to become stable?

and if i buy one now, will i be able to fly it like this?

  • Thanks! To be honest, I think the heli was quite unstable in this video, due to the additional weight of the lights and the flybar that I forgot to adjust ;-)

Basically coax helis are pretty stable and relatively easy to fly once you get used to the controls (remember you have to control 4 axes/channels simultaneously!).

If you are completely new to this hobby maybe you should let your dealer check the basic setup, but in most cases a JP coax heli should fly like this "out of the box".

  • Looking good, get an LED flybar for it. That will top it off!

  • Thanks! Unfortunately the fuselage of the heli was damaged shortly after I shot this video, so I had to scrap the model ... :-(

  • I know you can buy a set of lights from Twister, but where do you put them? Did you add an extra connection to your 4in1?

  • I don't know how the original JP light set has to be connected and powered, but the set I used basically requires a free standard servo connector. Fortunately the Hawk's 4-in-1 unit actually has a 6-channel receiver, so after a bit of investigation I figured out you can modify the unit and add extra connectors (you have to cut the housing of the 4-in-1 to see where you can add the connectors).

  • cool im thinkin of buyin a heli but i want an outdoor one is this 1 outdoor?

  • You can fly outdoors with these small coaxial helis, but only if wind is absolutely calm! Otherwise you are pretty much limited to indoor use. But besides that they are great for learning flying an RC heli ;-)

  • nice,after watching this i think i might go buy a twister hawk :) awsome vid 5/5

  • Thanks! ;-)

  • Very nice..do u use a blue alu upgrade ?

  • Thanks for watching! Yes, these are the blue CNC tuning parts from JP (identical to the E-Flite parts for the Blade CX).

  • does the Twister Hawk Coastguard has lights aswell?

  • No ... In fact none of the Twister Hawk models is shipped with these lights. I actually installed them myself on this heli. Too bad it doesn't exist any more :-(

  • doesen't it drain the battery life?

  • Not really. The energy consumption of the LEDs is ridiculously low compared to the two motors, so overall flight time is only reduced by 10-20 seconds.

  • cool heli
