the hakka dish i know is more in black colour than this one. more steps and complicated where u need red dates, fish and more ingredients than this for the gravy.
nowaday lots of peoples cut off so many steps and ingredients to make it simple.
Hi, isn't this dish's sauce black color? as in black sauce compare with the red bean sauce? Is this an adaptation or original? I remember my mom used to cook this when she was around but doesn't look "reddish" like yours. Hers could be an adaptation. I'm just wondering.
I love this dish and I've missed this hakka family dish. I lived on my own in UK and wish for this dish. I have accidentally found this video. Recently I've visited my local Chinese supermarket and purchased a packet of frozen taro. I now need to watched and follow this step by step instruction video. Thank you.
@yingwingyi Hi, About zongzi, I live in a small city in germany, it is pretty hard to find chinese ingredients. For zongzi, i need wrap in bamboo or reed leaves, I try to look for it. I put in my list already. Thank you.
Hi, I recently ate dim sum at this restaruant and they served this dish that was white mushroom caps stuffed with shrimp. It was also covered with this sauce that had black pepper mixed into it. They called it yeung moe goo. I tried googling for this recipe and can't find it. Can you possible do a video on this dish if you can? Thank you so much in advance!!
OMG!!!! thank you Maria... you are awesome... I don't think you remember me, had to change my account... my old youtube account was ayumi168, it's great to see you had managed to find the taro in germany... :-D
@Joicheu Hi, yes I found it and I made this especially for you. Right after uploading the video I tried to send you a message but I found out your account was closed... I am really happy that you made a new account and can see this video. I hope you like it. Best regards from germany!
@wantanmien Hi... I know... something happened with my email... got a virus and well I think youtube closed my account, anyways... Loved the video... I'll try to make this recipe soon... :-D thanks for making the video... you are so cool!
