  • I think you did a great job....what fun. That is how it all starts though. I am a recreational musher in Canada and i got my start when I was ten by hooking up my two goats to my tobbagan. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun and Kobuk will figure it out as time goes on. My only question is why didin't you hook up the husky ? Good Luck and keep Running With Your Friends.

  • No no no you have this all wrong!!!

If you used a leash please don't try this EVER again because for one thing your dog is not bred to pull sleds. 2. you do not have the propper sled (you could hurt your dog). 3. You need to know the sledding words. 4. DO NOT TRY TO BE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WHO IS A PRO AT DOG SLEDDING.

I have my work cut out.

  • @DogSleddingDreamer We didn't use a leash, we made harnesses. Our dog is bred to pull sleds, his mother is a husky from Unalakleet. This was just for fun and not intended to be taken seriously, I would have thought that was apparent. I am quite aware of the "sledding words", having chatted with many mushers when they come through for the Iditarod. If I were to seriously consider dog mushing I would not include our neighbor's black lab in the team and I would not use a child's plastic sled.
