  • ah, the good times before infomercials and "paid programming". I worked in TV and radio back then (not on CFMT), and you could do whatever you wanted on the overnight shift because as far as management was concerned it was a graveyard. Then all of a sudden they could get paid to air hour-long commercials and it was all over.

Anyone remember the later 'ANS" show that CH 47 ran? With "The Night Owl"? Those were good, too, but not as good as Chuck & Ryerson.

  • glad i lived in buffalo and got to experience this show from the very begining..a shame about its early demise HEY YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! great catch phrase lol

  • Chuck if your out there Hey You from an old fan.

  • We all lived in buffalo NY and talked on the CB Radio. When the "All Night Show" came on, we would all leave the CB to go and watch this show. What great memories of this show and our youth on the CB 10-4

  • I remember another song too, by The Start..as the theme song.."hey you..crawl outta your hole.ya better start rackin it and not knockin it.." Thanks for the memories...it was a godsend to people like me that turned off thier tv when the Indian test pattern came on.

  • Ahh the memories! I have never seen "My mother the car" before or after it was on the ANS!

  • Thanks man! Me and my friends were BIG fans back in the day! My 2 freinds Al and Gord even got autographs from Chuck and Ryerson and FRAN THE NURSE (Remmeber HER?) OMG, never thought we would see this again! Great memories!!!!!!

  • Ahhhhh the sweet memories of the first all-night TV show broadcast in Ontario,Canada in 1981 on Channel 47! Thanks a million for posting this!

  • I just Remember this Theme Video Clip when I was at the age of 16. I had my first RCA Color TV. I started to watched the all night show. When this program starts This Clip was always played on each start of the program. The program plays from Midnight to 6:00 A.M.

So, Thank you So Very Much for Sharing This Clip!!!!!

  • god i miss this show i spent many nights watchind ch 47

  • Is that Jim Carrey with the voices on some of these videos from In Living Color fame that was part of this show. These shows are lost classics now and historical.

  • All though Carey was a voice contributor to the show, I don't believe his is among any any of the the vids copied here

  • Bummeer cause that would be rare as heck like these great video....I love them and I never see this show since I am in the states. Great television indeed this was.

  • This is a reminder of the last time the Toronto TV market had some quality late night reruns in the early 80's. Good Job!!!

This was a good time waster.
