Threats stop Salman Rushdie from attending festival

the book, Satanic verses was bizarre, i read it in the 80's. Rushdie was a muslim at the time and it was a fantastical, fictional book. He didn't deserve what happened to it. India was the first country to ban the book. Yes, India, the 'world's largest' democracy.

There is no freedom of speech when muslims are 15-20% of the population.

The same will happen in Canada and the States unless immigration is halted and the conservatives defeat sharia.  The time to act is now
